Gods/goddesses are divine beings of order who are diametrically opposed to the beings of chaos, the Demons. The first god, Ao, waged war against the Demons with his army of warriors called theChampions. Ao created The Materium to seperate The Chaos from himself and his plane of order called Cathädrell. Ao would also give birth to five sons and five daughters who make up the upper pantheon of gods. These gods and goddesses tend to and protect the Materium with each god/goddess embodying a different aspect of the Materium to watch over specifically. The children of Ao would go on to lay with each other and birth the lower pantheon of gods.

Anatomy

The gods can take many different forms, with each having their own favored form, but the most widely seen of these form (by mortals) is very humanoid in appearance with variations pertaining to the gods/goddess's domain and/or preferences.
