Grew up as the only child to (insert name) of West Kren. Her mother raised her to eventually take over after her, but Shina never had any interest. Their conflicting views on what she should do with her life always put a wedge in their relationship until one day Shina ran away from home.
She changed her last name to Canvas and went to go live in Ara'Groo where she signed up at a college to take art classes. That was where she ended up running into Mina Violli and became friends with her.
This eventually led her to running into Mina's brother Ettore whom the both of them hit it off and started dating very quickly. It was after two weeks of dating that Shina decided she wasn't going to let Ettore go so she proposed to him and they ended up getting married.
