Sunday: On Sunday, Lilith makes a big breakthrough in her research as she works out a solution to a decades-old source of analytic discrepencies in records on ambient magic measurements. This revelation gives her a more precise understanding of magic, and thanks to this unlocks a new tier of potential within her spellcasting. Thanks to leveling up, Lilith gains 1 Fame & 1 Prestige Point. Thanks to leveling up, Lilith receives a level-up bonus of 9500 gp to her wealth. On this day, Halmeni the cat works on producing a +2 Cloak of Resistance, but only gets halfway done (2000/4000 gp in progress).
Moonday: On Moonday, Lilith takes a series of exams, and as usual, she aces them (her bonus on these Knowledge (arcana) checks mean that she cannot fail, even on a roll of 1). Lilith's Fame raises by another 5, as does her pool of Prestige Points. During this day, Halmeni completes the +2 Cloak of Resistance (4000/4000 gp of progress).
Toilday: On Toilday, Lilith visits the Vault of Abadar in the Ivy District. She arranges for a meeting with one of their scribes, and with his help she audits her income for the prior year and pays the taxes she owes to the city in the amount of 3912.42 gp. Halmeni begins a second +2 Cloak of Resistance, and as before, gets halfway done. (2000/4000 gp in progress).
Wealday: On Wealday, Lilith temporarily recruits a Life Oracle to aid her in a task using her Arcanamirium connections (see the next downtime entry beneath). With his help, she begins producing a Lesser Ring of Revelation that contains the channel revelation. Lilith makes a modicum of progress towards its completion (2000/10000 gp). During this day, Halmeni completes the second +2 Cloak of Resistance (4000/4000 gp of progress).
Oathday: On Oathday, Lilith recruits Halmeni to aid her in the task of producing the Lesser Ring of Revelation. With her cat familiar's help, they make considerable progress (6000/10000 gp progress).
Fireday: On Fireday, Lilith and Halmeni redouble their efforts, and manage to complete the Lesser Ring of Revelation (10000/10000 gp progress).
Starday: On Starday, Lilith performs an inventory of her shop's products and raw materials. Using her Focused Overseer feat, Lilith discounts the cost of Magic Capital and purchases the 196 Magic Capital her shop produced for the week by expending 49 Magic Capital. In addition, Lilith also sells Gilmore a pair of +2 Cloaks of Resistance for a tidy sum of 4800 gp. If Gilmore sells these at full market price, he should make an overall profit of 3200 gp. Later that same day, Lilith sells Alex the Lesser Ring of Revelation for 1250 gp. In return for granting him a large discount on magic item commissions, Alex agrees to promote the shop and cultivate a positive reputation for himself, which in turn will boost the shop's image. Lilith gives Halmeni the day off, and the cat wanders around the Ivy District for fun.

In a haphazard scramble of cramming and a sleepless night, Lilith achieves another magical epiphany and her magic progresses yet again. Moonday: On Moonday, Halmeni and Lilith split up the work on the remaining two magic items. This is Lilith's first big magic item. Although there are other things I'd probably prefer to make first, this will be a helpful tool in advancing other aspects of the plot; such as the investigation into Gavren Toth- and in the future, other ventures.
In truth I'd like to amass Magic Capital to make a powerful golem for exploring the ruin instead, but it feels like the situation with the fraud investigation and regarding the House of Whispers might be more time-critical. The ruin's been sitting there for four thousand years. It can probably stand to wait a little bit longer...

Narrative Entry
Sunday: On Sunday, Lilith expends 2 Magic Capital as she conducts research to learn more about the House of Whispers. She seeks to have three questions answered regarding this subject (I will actually list the questions, knowledge checks, and their applicable modifiers in the subsequent post).
Moonday -> Fireday: On Moonday, Lilith expends 229 Magic Capital and begins the lengthy process of crafting a Strand of Prayer Beads (standard). With Halmeni's help, she considerable progress this week. [22000/45800 gp progress].
Starday: On Starday, Lilith performs an inventory of the shop's resources, and refines the raw magic collected from the Leyline Convergence into a powdered form. Mechanically, Lilith is using her Focused Overseer feat to discount the cost of Magic Capital, and expends 49 Magic Capital to cover the earned capital costs of the 196 Capital the shop produces for the week.
Resources Expended: Overall, 280 Magic Capital are expended for the week; 2 for conducting research, 229 for item creation, and 49 as a consumption cost to purchase new earned capital. Accounting for this and her shop's production (196 Magic Capital), Lilith has lost 84 Magic Capital for this week.

This is Lilith's first big magic item. Although there are other things I'd probably make first, this will be a helpful tool in advancing other aspects of the plot; such as the investigation into Gavren Toth- and in the future, other ventures. In truth I'd like to amass Magic Capital to make a powerful golem for exploring the ruin instead, but it feels like the situation with the fraud investigation and regarding the House of Whispers might be more time-critical. The ruin's been sitting there for four thousand years. It can probably stand to wait a little bit longer...
