Fengat

Also known as the Imperial Republic of North Caucasus, Fengat is a country in North Caucasus, the northeastern coast of the Caspian Sea, and the southern half of former Crimea. The country's foundation date was lost, and can't be really measured, because it's a bunch of tribes that sticked together. But if you consider it a country only if it has a sedentary capital city, then it was founded in 2225, when it became an independant kamanate.

Structure

The country is ruled by an emperor, which can either be a woman or a man, and 70 senators elect them (the emperor) every 10 years (when nothing goes wrong), on the first of march. The senators themselves are elected every 20 years by the people. Each senator proposes decisions/laws, and the Emperor has to declare wars, give a budget, refuse laws/propositions based on the country's principles or through refenrendums.

Territories

The ancestral lands of the Fengati people are the mountains of Caucasus. But soon, several peoples emerged from all these people, and different nomadic tribes were formed. In 13600, the country's "main" region is the north Caucasus, but what remains of this once huge empire is an ancient conquered territory in the southern half of former Crimea, and a colony-ish territory on the northeastern coast of the Caspian Sea.

Religion

The country's main religion has always been Tahanism, a polytheist religion and philosophy that expanded its influence when the empire conquered all the land between the Caucasian mountains and the Arctic Circle.
