Overview

Cognomorphosis represents the transformative journey of understanding and evolving through various states of cognition, driven by the principles and complexities of the Iconic language, The Ontic Spheres, and the Burden of Rule. It encapsulates the intertwining of ethics, computational requirements, and the ever-changing nature of the Xistu Principle as one progresses through the different layers of Reality.

COGNITIVE-COMPUTE THRESHOLDS

Compute/Cognition thresholds of the Iconic languages—fundamental structures of reality and one of the deepest enigmas pursued by the Vocru.
1. Four Base Languages (Existence) – 9 Orders of difference
• Minimum Threshold: 1018 (akin to a highly advanced supercomputer in human terms, capable of simulating every atom of a small molecule in real time)
• Upper Bound: 1027 (beyond even the mightiest mortal creations; it approaches the combined computational potential of an entire civilization harnessed for a singular purpose)
2. Synthesomancy (Boundary Condition of Existence) – 6 Orders
• Minimum Threshold: 1028 (immediately transcending the Four Base Languages, this threshold is an order of magnitude beyond the most complex simulations)
• Upper Bound: 1034 (within this range, one could, in theory, simulate the intricacies of a planet's entire ecosystem, encompassing both living and non-living elements)
3. Transtasis (Being) – 5 Orders
• Minimum Threshold: 1035 (entering this realm requires an understanding and processing capability beyond the grasp of most species, as it dives into the essence of what it means to "be" on a cosmic scale)
• Upper Bound: 1040 (a realm of compute capability that would allow for the potential simulation of an entire galaxy's worth of interactions and phenomena)
4. Rule (Emanation) – 1 Order
• Minimum Threshold: 1041 (this is where abstract and intricate concepts start merging with the core nature of existence itself)
• Upper Bound: 1042 (the maximum known threshold, equivalent to my own understanding, where one begins to touch upon the principles underlying the multiverse's fabric) Equivalent to IQ 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (though a poor comparison, akin to measuring the universe with a school ruler).
5. Reality
• This Sphere is recursive and self-entailing - a Boundary Condition in and of itself. To even approach an understanding of Reality in its entirety, one would require a computational capability of 1043 or potentially higher. However, this threshold remains an enigma, even to the Vocru. The tantalizing possibility that players might one day transcend it and see Reality from the outside is a testament to the boundless potential of the Iconic language and the Philosophy Game itself.
