World Anvil has several feature modules and options that you can toggle on or off in your account. When you created your account you choose some of them, but you can always change your mind by following these steps:
- Click your profile picture at the top right.
- Select Features.
- On the Features page, click on any of the options to enable or disable them.
This is a list of all available options:
- Worldbuilding: Unless you're here just as an RPG player, keep this enabled.
- RPG Character Manager: This lets you create RPG characters, useful for RPG players and GMs.
- RPG Features: The toolset for GMs who want to use World Anvil for their campaigns.
- Novel Writing Software: It will give you access to our novel writing software.
- NSFW/18+ Content (disabled by default): If you enable it, you'll be able to see NSFW content published by community members. All of this content will be community-generated and should adhere to our Community Etiquette.
- Accessibility Features: If you keep it enabled, you'll have access to the Userway accessibility widget.
- World Anvil Newsletter (disabled by default): If you enable it, you'll subscribe to our email newsletter. We send our newsletter very rarely and it contains useful tips, advice, as well as giveaways.
- Article Autosave: Disabling this option will stop your articles from being automatically saved. If you disable it, you'll need to remember to always click the Save button manually!
- Article expanded prompts: Enabling this will make the expanded prompts fo all article templates always visible rather than being hidden behind a button.
- Help chat widget: If you disable this, the help chat widget at the bottom left will not be visible to you.
