Lena has much scarring on her torso and arms, some from being beaten as a child, and some from injuries in the field.

Apparel & Accessories

Lena wears a long grey canvas coat. The coat has strips of wood-lacquer hidden in the lining, making the coat quite good for protection, but still lightweight. She carries a satchel under the coat, in which she carries envelopes, a notepad, a stamp, and writing apparatus.

Lena is skilled with war axes and one-handed maces, and can take on a soldier with a knife.

Mentality

Personal history

Lena was neglected as a child by her parents, as she was unwanted. She ran away from her home at the age of nine, struggling to survive on the streets of Renn, but managed to scratch a living after joining a group of thieves. She was put out of action when she broke her leg at the age of eleven after a fight with another member of her group, and her life spiralled downhill as she was unable to steal food. She was taken to an orphanage two and a half weeks later, extremely malnourished. She stayed at the orphanage until her leg was fixed, then ran away as she greatly disliked the staff. At the age of twenty, Ezekial Evans noticed her ability for manipulating others to believe her, accepting her into the Order of Thorn. She rose the ranks quickly, becoming a member of the Hawks Division after eight years in the Order.

Education

Lena is a trained operative for the Order of Thorn, and has also received full training for the Hawks Division. She was also taught pickpocketing by people in the thief group that he was in.

Employment

Lena was recruited into a thieves group at the age of nine, a week after running away from home. She remained in this group until the age of 20, when she was recruited into the Order of Thorn by Ezekial Evans, the head of the Order at the time.

Mental Trauma

Lena was beaten and otherwise mistreated as a child by her parents, and as a result of this is generally distrusting of others and has little empathy. Because of this, she generally keeps to herself, with few friends. She never attends social events without some secondary reason to go, such as an operation for the Order.

Morality & Philosophy

Lena believes that any action that follows a purpose is justified, even if it prevents someone else from following their own purpose. Lena is also very cynical, and enjoys pointing out the selfish motives behind people’s kind acts, such as recognition or self-worth.

Motivation

Lena finds purpose in her service in the Order of Thorn. She has stated that she doesn't actually think that her country matters in itself, but she maintains that everyone should find some sort of purpose regardless of what it is.

Virtues & Personality perks

Lena is excellent at manipulating people and is an inept liar. It is this that makes her personas so convincing.

Lena is often very challenging and mocking, which can draw attention to herself. She enjoys pointing out flaws in people, and often tells law enforcement personnel about their own breaches in protocol, much to their annoyance.

Lena is a close friend of her former mentor when training for the Hawks, Marco Portuez, despite the general trend not to retain contact with mentors in the Order. When he was alive, Lena was very close to Ezekial Evans.

Social Aptitude

Lena has an incredible ability for persuading others, which is what earned her a place in the Order of Thorn. However, she has little motivation for social exchange, and as such, she is quite introverted. If she is not making a particular effort to be friendly, such as for a alias, she is often rude and hostile, even violent.
