S:31 Oh...not a ring?

by The Crimson Hero! Morrigan Maygal

"Come on cutie, give me a feel before we return! JUST ONE SQUEEZE OF THOSE TITS!!" "Back off old man, I saw them first, my Mammaory Queen come back over here...." The gruff audible voices rang out into the ethereal plane, while Drake had his hands over Morrigan's large floppy ears going through his head on how to kill ghosts. Suddenly their voices stopped dead, to everyone but the Admiral of course. The sun basked on them as their triremes bobbed like normal on the open sea. A sigh of relief escaping her lips as she canceled the order to her crew, "Ok everyone don't worry about the casks of beer! I mean...well you can drink them if you want...I'm kind of doubtful my idea would have worked." The crew cheered and Orri considered whether those "spirits" were the same as the spirits back home. She would have to ask Mom about how beer effects ALL undead. With a sigh she leaned against Drake, enjoying his closeness, then could feel the hardness of his abs and blushed slightly. The two adorable idiots blushed as their imaginations traveled, "I think the Admiral wants me to plot a course, I'll just..." She was interrupted as Drake lifted her by the scruff and took a kiss. Orri pouted with a giggle, "Do it nicely silly.." She punched him playfully knocking him back five feet falling on his back, she landed on him and stole her own kiss, "Like that." Drake raised an eyebrow and smirked, the two starring mischievously into each other's eyes.

Sir Lionel and Shin found themselves trapped viewing this love struck display, "Oh god, they aren't going to just bloody do it on deck are they?" Lionel whispered to Shin. The Falenese man shrugged and opened his mouth to respond. A burst of explosive fire interrupted him as the young couple erupted into a passion filled sparring match. Orri was knocked well above the mast, landing gracefully on the very tip of the wooden pillar, she smiled with excitement down at her handsome love. With a lightning flash she ran straight down the mast and unleashed a fiery flurry of kicks on Drake and their "foreplay" began.

Shin sighed heavily looking back at Sir Lionel, "Well Bernard, no, no they aren't going to "do it" on the deck. First they are going to break it." Two mugs of beer came into the men's peripheral vision, "Well you can't say their relationship isn't adorable and exciting!" The voice of the bosun Dame Deadshot broke their concentration. She handed them a tankard each as the three watched the fight, "Adorable? It's idiotic...they were made for each other." Lionel grumbled to himself while also smiling. Deadshot nudged him playfully, "Oh come on mister ex-knight, it's sweet in a way, and Captain Morrigan hasn't really stirred us wrong." Shin and Lionel turn on her about to protest, she had her defense ready, "HEY NOW! We may have just come from a realm of death and hate, BUT did we get hurt? Did she make sure we were looked after as she went off to make sure the problem would be solved?" They sighed and sipped their beer, "Yeah, fine, you're right, she is a pretty good captain." Lionel murmured, while Shin jumped in, "Plus she makes us SHIT tones of drachma, I mean that first mate can really drain merchant of their wealth, and......wait Deadshot, aren't you the bosun? Why are you always so calm when the captain and Drake get...rambunctious?" Deadshot smiles brightly and her eyes radiate with smugness, "Well with a captain like Orri, my job is always truly secure." The three have a lovely laugh at the truth in her words.

Toward the stern of the trireme another massive impact dents the wood of the deck, Morrigan had gained the upper hand of the spar. Something felt off, she had never been on the advantage so much in one of their spars, not since the Serpent's Trench at least. Her dear crimson headed love seemed off, almost troubled. Morrigan studied the Adonis of a man with much scrutiny and adoration, she could see the slight difference in his demeanor with such ease. His caring love approaches slowly, gently leaning down and planting a soft kiss on his cheek. Her knuckles are an array of callouses and scars, but her palm is terribly soft as it cups Drake's cheek, "What's wrong, you are so distracted." Morrigan smiles softly at him, as he stands to his full height seemingly nervous about something. She awaits patiently as he fumbles through his words, each new revelation making her soar with joy and love, proclaiming her as his queen and the reason for his fiery passion. The martial artist was soaring with love and unexplainable happiness as Drake declared his feelings in such a romantic and adorable way. The moments she had dreamed of as a young girl, a boy declaring his admiration was everything her mind desired. Then to her ecstatic surprise he spoke a particular phrase, "My Queen, I have something I want to give you." His hands moved slowly, the breeze came through from the sea and billowed her hair, time seemed to slow to a halt. His words rang out through the air and Morrigan's eyes expanded, her hands reaching up to her lips. She was speechless, was this the moment?! Has the time come?! Her body started shaking as her eyes locked in on Drake's sweet beautiful eyes, barely a squeak escaped her lips, she was ready to burst, to scream yes.

Her sketchbook was riddled with imaginings of this moment, the dresses of her own design, how handsome he would look beside her! Her imagination exploded and took her on an endless journey within the span of just a few seconds. She imagined the grey endless landscape with her whole family cheering her on, the imposing figure of her Uncle Shamsir declaring her and Drake husband and wife. Drake landing a passionate kiss on her lips before "You may kiss the bride" is uttered. The group of gods and dear friends all chuckling at the display. A magical moment racing through her mind. Within the span of seconds she relived the moment of her mothers walking her down the aisle, hugging them dearly and standing on the platform with her muscular man, each time she reimagined it there was a different "sister" as her maid of honor. Imagining everyone in a fancy dress was just as fun, even considering letting Anaxa stay in her armor was a delight. She even had to consider the possibility of a floating squid maid of honor. Her face reddened as she imagined it all, her smile widening, and the humidity increasing in her eyes, and just as she was near screaming yes, she came back to the slow time of reality looking at the love of her life, as his hands reached his neck.....she suddenly seemed confused, thinking perhaps he was hiding the ring in his hair! How genius!

All the scenarios that played out in her mind suddenly shattered and faded as Drake unclipped his necklace, an odd looking blue stone hanging from the chain. She blinked a few times as the cycle of reality returned to normal speed, the breeze stopping entirely. The wind was taken out of her sails metaphorically and physically, herself and the ship at a standstill. All that left her mouth was "Oh" as she realized this was not a proposal. Drake took off the necklace and stepped closer and took her hand, he smiled as he wrapped the necklace around her forearm and hand. It was a soft and sweetly intimate moment, the rush of love and affection returning to her chest. She saw the intention of it, he was worried about her, and he loved her.

Morrigan spent the time after that in her typical dreamy eyed love world, barely checking the route she set. She came back to her senses when Artemis nudged her with a message from the sending stone. After announcing their arrival to some island she didn't remember the story of, but what did catch her floppy soft ears was Hexter's name. A chance to see his speed and hope that she had become better and fast enough to match him. Instead what the Hive found was an island in trouble, and the "villain" that Anaxa painted him as, helping and tending to the place he called home. Hexter was being so kind and gentle with the townsfolk as he helped them, Orri snuck up behind him and tapped him playfully on the shoulder with a huge smile, "Hello again." The former general glances over and groans, "You again?" Orri giggles hoping for a rematch until she notices the state of the town and it's battered people, without hesitation she wanted to help. Looking up she noticed a beautiful mural, but it was missing parts of it. Sun coming through the broken ceiling she studied the mural and imagined what the rest would look like. She reached into her "tit hole" and produced a box of beautiful paints that her dear sweet Artemis found for her. Something his dear Morrigan might like, paints that can create three dimensional objects, she placed them down and in a sudden flash she ran up the wall and across the ceiling. What seemed like a dozen Orri running here and there splashing paint on the ceiling as it seemed to manifest as a full mural while also fixing the ceiling of the temple. The people and children watch in awe as the young girl finishes up and places her paints back in her cleavage, she smiles and looks outside, "Oh the rain stopped."

Orri watched with some boredom as the mages combined their power to vanquish the black blood. The young woman smiled as she remembered the last time they encountered the blood of Tartarus, her little boy throwing a small sword gem at her to release her Drake to save her from the blood. Now that she looks back, he was so dashing and wonderful....until he spoke. She giggles thinking how annoyed she was that he could fight it and not her. The light of her spirit artes glared off her Lambda stone and brought her back to reality as it shone in her eye. Looking out to the island as the blood exploded leaving only one big chunk, that suddenly started gliding on the water like she can. She glanced at the gift on her hand and smiled with joy, "I get to use his gift right away, I'll stay safe for you my love, my fire...MY KING!" She yelled as she jumped off the ship and ran at full speed toward the living blood clot. The others looking at her confused and sighed, of course Morrigan ran straight for it. She stares at the stone and gathers nearly all of her ki into a condensed kernel in her chest, and with a straining effort it explodes from her on all sides in a giant fiery sphere. The others teleported to the island watching the explosion wondering what ridiculous new bullshit technique their friend had invented. The fight was a mess as Orri and the Admiral pulled out all the stops to just be pasted to the damn thing, chipping away at it's body, until Anaxa appeared and ran the blood through, killing it finally, "Wow, thank god Anaxa got to finish it, I would feel bad if she lost another chance to finish something off." Morrigan thought to herself, she was happy to let Anaxa finish it. To her, the fight was the important and fun part, not the ending of it.

All that finishing your opponent and glory stuff was really important to Anaxa, and Morrigan was all to eager to let her have that. Especially in the cave that Hexter brought them too, after Orri's disappointment that this wasn't going to be a rematch she got bored and distracted by the beautiful old murals and only came back to the conversation after they declared they would fight a huge strong monster, "YEAH? Well come on let's GO!" She quickly plotted a course as Anaxa spoke about her third snake sister, oh what fun, another sibling to get to know! "A liar huh? I'm sure she wasn't treated nice just like Medusa." Orri casually said to Drake, "Well if she is a liar, just do the opposite of what she says." Drake pronounced proudly, Morrigan sprang up amazed at the insight, "YES! That's perfect, so until she gets better, I'll just do the opposite of the lies she says, and know what the thing is that she really means so that her lies will become truth and then after a while she will actually start telling the truth!" The air around them seemed to die a little as Artemis stood there with a hurt and worried expression on his face, he knew the others would be with his dear momma and stopped worrying, besides Morrigan seemed to make the impossible possible and had some strange effect on the people she met. He sighed and went about his duties.

On the journey to the giant monsters, it was a peaceful night along the serene Merian seas, the sun setting gently letting just a little light onto the thatched roof of a witches hut. A lovely warm hut that perches upon the mast of a large trireme, where a young woman and a large reptilian bird sat and watched the sun, "It's such a lovely view, it makes me feel like the old days back when we were on one ship. Before I was "encouraged" to be a captain." Morrigan looks toward the bird as it squawks back. Below them, hanging out a window with a cup of tea a high elf listens to the conversation with a smile. Morrigan watches the sun shine off the Lambda stone and she blushes as she looks into it. The odd wildlands bird notices the glare and taps it with it's beak, "HEY! Be careful....it's from my love." Orri gets a dreamy smile, "He was really worried about me...he called me "My Queen"!! OH IT WAS SO SWEET AND ROMANTIC!" She cries out and the bird moves away slightly, and Zephyria chuckles. Morrigan polishes the stone and sighs happily, "Admiral it was so wonderful, he is worried about my safety, and he gave it to me. It means he thinks about me when I'm not with him." She holds the stone to her chest and sighs, "I love him so..." Zephyria sips her tea and looks over to the Scarlet's Web noticing the Admiral walking the deck, she turns to her roof and smirks at the apparent simple Wildlands bird that ISN'T the Admiral, she debates letting Orri know, but grabs parchment to write all this down as Morrigan continues, "Oh Admiral, I still can't believe it's all real. All those things he did were to get my attention! Those raids, the attacks on merchants, it's just all so romantic!" The odd bird squawks at the martial artist as she continued to talk to poor animals ears off, while Zephyria wrote all of it down, the sun disappearing over the horizon.
