Hyper fixation concerning certain things can be strong even in the mind of one such as Orri. Meeting.....no, experiencing the might and overwhelming power of the unpronounceable king has left Morrigan, the fight mad martial artist, with a renewed and feverish need to train and be ready to fight the biggest challenge she could ever imagine. Winter came strong and left Orri with the worry that she could not train properly in a place where fighting was unwanted and unlawful, she was frustrated and found comfort in her loving goodest boy Artemis. He created a casino with a fighting ring, however it slowly came to light that his loving mother figure has become a legend and people would be terrified to fight her, another defeat.
About a week into winter Anaxa and the Admiral with a heavy sigh reminded Morrigan they have a place that exists out of time and space, a place that they had to remind her was something she was an expert on....So their nights were filled with Morrigan begging them to train and spar as much as possible, filling her nights fighting a hoplite and dinosaurs. Training, and spending time with Drake was all she was doing. Until one night where they dragged Morrigan to a symposium at Lord Kestor's vessel. She made a small protest but she knew very well that resting was just as important as training, and dressing up with Drake brought her a lot of joy, enjoying a party with her love was inviting.
Drinking and relaxing listening to Lord Kestor welcome them back and turning to Morrigan, "Oh..and congratulations on your nuptials." After her confused look everyone told her it means being engaged. With a surprised look she looked over at a drunk Drake and wondered how Kestor thought they were engaged. The idea also swirled in her mind, "Is it too soon? Well he could ask? Is he going to ask? Why hasn't he asked?.......should I ask? The stories all say he should ask, but Mother asked Mom....but they are both women... OH GOD! I WANT HIM TO ASK. Then we can go back to Pomporia and have a lovely wedding, or better yet a wedding at home like moms had. The beautiful purple grey sky and all my family. Ugh then Anaxa will get all weird and not want to go to Kur. It's not like she will be dead...it's only permanent when your a cloud." Her mind goes wild as it rambles and she realizes that the party was over and Drake had her in his arms carrying her back to the hotel, she smiled and looked up at him snuggling against him. "Maybe there is no rush....but maybe...." As Drake walks with her Orri attempts to project her thoughts into his similarly thick head, "ask me, ask me, ask me, ask me, ask me, ask me." For the entire winter Morrigan goes back and forth from training and getting distracted by the idea of engagement that Lord Kester planted in her head.
Training with Drake and whenever they take a break, the unsubtle simpleton and the thick headed man play their game of love, "So honey...anything you wanted toooooo ASK ME?!" and many other such hints as that throughout the weeks. During each new moon trying to lead each conversation to rings and love with her moms and other family, when an idea hit Morrigan, "AUNTIE MAXINE! She could find out if he has a ring.....but what if she finds it and it gets "lost" forever....hmmm That is a risk worth taking." One night Orri walks out to a secluded spot and writes on a piece of paper, "Dearest Auntie Maxine, I have a super duper important question. Also how are you? How is the basement? Hope to see you soon! Love you. Love your niece, Orri" Morrigan folds the note and talks into the night air, "OH DEAR, I sure hope this note never gets LOST....like super LOST from me...the niece of the god of LOSS!" She spins and puts the note in a secret pocket she has sewn into her jacket, reminding her of a game her and Auntie Maxine used to play. She smiled and jumped back down to go to bed, she had much to do. Garlmas was approaching and she had presents to make.
