Looking Back, Three Years on the Hive Already!
Atop the main mast, on her now stable and fixed crow's nest, Morrigan lays down with her face to the stars. Artemis dead asleep beside her and keeping them both warm. Morrigan's voice is soft as it recounts her time on The Hive to a book she is holding. "..ell after my first ship with all those Daiya-jin was attacked by some crazy evil mage guy. He couldn't hurt us so he hurt the ship, we barely made it back to the Silver Sea's haha. I remembered what you told me so I looked for the colorful captain you spoke about, and I found a green one! She wasn't sure what to do with me and Artemis so she accepted us as crew, I cleaned the floors for a little while and taught some of the crew about ropes, I saw that most of them were also green, it turns out they are all goblins....except for the weird familiar looking magic guy hanging out around the ship." She looked back up into the stars making sure they were still on course. "You remember when I told you about the captain being kidnapped by that crazy dragon, and I had to figure out how to figure out where she went. The crew helped me steer the ship and search as I navigated.....it took a few months I think. Then we found it, and I remembered all the basics you taught me and took on the challenge and took on the dragon, it couldn't lay a claw on me and I ran up it's back and slammed down on it's head. It went down so easily, I felt a little let down. BUT the captain made me the quartermaster navigator! OH! I never told you about the crazy divine oracle lady who spoke to me and made me miss out on a battle! I think she helped me get a little stronger though. Not like the dark dungeon that I couldn't see in....BUT I figured out a weakness and took time to adjust for it. It was so good talking with you guys, have a good night, I miss you so much....especially your cooking. Zephy only makes Merian food and NOTHING ELSE." She sighs. "Love you guys, I'm having a lot of fun." Kissing the book. "Goodnight!"
