Letter to Vaelora

Hello Auntie,
 
So many things have happened here. I'm sure you heard about the princess being kidnapped. My friends and I are the ones who rescued her! It was such an adventure, and we discovered a cult right under our noses. Who would've guessed that would happen?
 
I'm sure Zeph told you all about it in her latest letter to you. But my friends and I now have our own group, and apparently, we rescue princesses! We didn't start out doing that, just mostly looking into ruins around Oathwatch and discussing what we've discovered, which is not very much, unfortunately. However, I think we have built friendships that will last beyond Oathwatch. I was afraid when I came here, but now I am glad I to be here everyday!
 
Also, Zeph has taken to calling our friend Orren "Sir Bear", which is just so cute and funny! He's so nice that he doesn't make fun of her for it, and instead, accepts it with a smile. She even has a group that seems to follow Orren now. She went from such a shy girl to a leader of a group now! I'm so proud of her!
 
I'm proud of Davi too. His combat skill at his age is impressive, and I think he might have talked the headmaster into letting them having a naval battle on the lake (no real weapons of course). At least, he thinks he might have talked the headmaster into it. He still thinks he can get buy on his charm, and I can't say that it hasn't worked for him many times over the years. The number of girls that like him seem to grow every year. Davi's naval club has grown too. I'm really impressed with what a leader he is becoming. Sometimes, he really reminds me of father.
 
I used to worry about graduating and leaving them behind, but now I know they will do well even after I leave Oathwatch, which is of great comfort to me.
 
Speaking of graduating, I also am becoming skilled in being a spy and doing very well in my classes. I know you worry about me in that regard, but I truly believe I am on the path I was meant to be on. I am convinced of it. When I graduate in a couple of years, I will still do father proud, of course. But I will also pursue being a real spy. I can't wait to see what adventures I go on in the future. I have learned and experienced so much at Oathwatch, much more than I could ever have dreamed of. I have made friends that I hope will last a lifetime, and discovered who I truly am at heart.
 
I know you will still worry, and I don't blame you, but I am excited about what life will bring after Oathwatch. Two more years to go!
