Session 17-C

28 Aster 21ab continued.
 
We have arrived at Zare. The city is towers. Literally. The city lies on top of the tall towers.
As we get to the base of one of the towers, we are escorted up. As we climb to the "highest room of the tallest tower" everyone but Cromwell and Ting notice that there is only one airship docked. Gwendolyn and Mary notice that the city is in the season of torrent. This can possibly mean that this is the last one left. We look at each other with a silent language that says " oh sugar plums we must hurry!" We see people loading the ship. Mary asks someone "excuse me, do you happen to know if this ship is leaving any time soon?" The stranger responds in a language that Cromwell is able to understand. It is a good thing Mary wanted to bring him along.
 
Cromwell tell us "we are not getting on this ship because it is just a supply transport only. Also and I quote Samuel says : it would be 2k for each of you so 12k total"."
We all try to have Cromwell haggle the price with Samuel but Cromwell just starts to sweat, and fumble over his words. After few moments of Cromwell nervously fidgeting, He runs away. He runs into Sydney and she asks him how it went. Sydney says she might be able to figure out how we can get on that ship. That leaves tonight.
 
We all try to locate Cromwell and find him a few yard away from us. After Sydney explains, we meet up with Finn who is hopefully able to get us on that ship. The only thing he can do is get our stuff on there but it is up to us to figure out how to get ourselves on the ship.
Mary is the first to come up with plan. She says "K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid."
 
The plan so far is Axel changing into a Sailor to load the "items" on the ship. These items are Gwendolyn, Mary and Ting/Blip Hidden in 3 red barrels. A calf and a pack mule.
The sailors are Marmaduke and Bernard. Axel takes pictures of the sailors and Marmaduke starts to wonder and become suspicious, but waves it off.
Cromwell passes Axel and says over his shoulder : Axel, you may be transformed on the outside, but I, I am transformed...on the inside."
Axel and Mary head off to the restrooms so Mary can keep watch so Axel can transform into one of the sailors, specifically Marmaduke. Gwendolyn and Ting go in search for some delicious food. Gwendolyn sees some sand donuts but Ting steers her away from that. After we eat, Gwendolyn goes to hide in her barrel with a piece of blip concealing her, and Blip/Ting find Finn so he can smuggle Blip who is inside the pack mule onto the ship.
 
The rest of the sailors have left the ship so Axel starts to load the red barrels onto the ship. Axel moves us below deck, and scopes the air ship to see if there are any other sailors on board. So far none to be seen but Axel comes across a giant glowey crystal. After a few hours, we hear some foot steps above deck and one guy passes us but he was stumbling around not really paying attention to anything. Another man who looks like the captain come down, starts the engine and the air ship begins to set sail. He then comes back out, grabs Gwendolyn's barrel and leaves the room. Gwendolyn hears some more foots steps next to her and hears what sounds like another barrel being placed next to her. Gwendolyn can tell that there are at least 2 other sailors.
 
Gwendolyn hears a lot of yelling and commotion from the deck she is on and sees 2 Axels coming up the stairs and one of them being tied to the mast. She knows that one is the real Axel. How does she know? Because that Axel will not stop talking trying to get his way out of the situation. Axel ends up gaged.
Axel hears the captain arguing and say "well, find them!" Axel tries to sweet talk his way out of being tied to the mast but eventually he is wrestling with one of the sailors, Axel does not win this fight and is tied to the mast.
 
Gwendolyn hears someone yelling, who she assumes is the captain, "alright, come out with your hands up"
 
Mary emerges from her barrel. And they see the most beautiful woman in the world. Blip is still covering Mary so as she stands up it looks like she is covered in baby oil. The sailors Marmaduke and Piers leap towards Mary, she ducks down as the 2 men leap over the barrel. The captain is yelling at his crew to settle down but they all keep yelling "A WOMAN!"
Mary slowly stands up again more cautious this time of sailors trying to jump her.
 
This is where we pause for now because Cromwell is m.i.a
