Dear Mother and Father,
 
I hope you are both well. I am coming up on the end of the 4th year here and wanted to share with you what I have accomplished this year. Enclosed is a functioning duplicate of the ring I crafted as my capstone project for Artifice class. With an input of magical energy, it is able to produce the Bardic Cure Wounds spell. The instructors asked me several questions to test my understanding of primal music and magical string theory and how I was able to reproduce it. I think they were impressed I was able to master those theories so well with just self study! I even overhead one of them mention discussing my project with others from The Spire. I hope this makes you proud.

When I attended Ioth Academy, we focused on important things! Is Untermauler still there? I can't imagine he'd let such nonsense happen under his watch! I'm tempted to call a war rally and ride down there with an army to set Ioth straight in person!
