Session 51: Retrieving the final shard

It is now the 14th of PanAelsh, roughly 10am.
 
We've all just reappeared in Eldoria from the Bahamut fight. Franz from the other party is here for some reason with Mordenkainen. Lyra is back and Ash is gone.
 
A girl name Amy and a fellow named Cazador are also here. They are from New Galvania.
 
Lya learns that Ash got the shard from New Galvania and brought it to Tempest.
 
Lufere discovers that the shard is actually back in Eldora by looking at our magic map.
 
We head into the city. Lyra gets some bread from Mr. Butzsin. A fellow named Dawles buys some bread for Lyra.
 
Mr. Dawles is a little disappointed with how stable things are in Eldoria. He wants to cause some more chaos in Eldoria.
 
Apparently all we need to do is take a tiny little trip into the fey wild. Tempest is immediately like "Fuck you. I'm out"
 
 
Cazador walks into a bar and asks for an ale. Apparently this is code for "take me to your back room to gamble" They ask him for 100GP and poor Cazador is like, maybe I want Sake instead?
 
Meanwhile, Lyra notices that Cazador has disappeared. She is lead into the bar where he went. An old guy doesn't like her, nor Amy and draws his sword on Lyra. Tempest throws his hammer totally ripping his arm off. Nobody is phased by this.
 
They take us to the back. Franz covers the 100GP cover for Caz. Caz promptly loses it. Franz ends up winning $1400 GP with the help of Lyra using Minor Illusion. Caz de-escalates a fight and we leave.
 
We get to the academy. We disguise ourselves and we find the room with the mirror. BUT now there are 5 more mirrors. one of the mirrors shows a lit brazier even though the brazier inside this room is not lit. We discover that each mirror reflects something that is not in this room.
 
We get impatient trying to solve the puzzle and Franz ends up Thunderwaving the floor underneath us and we go down that way. It's a new room with 6 pillars and arrows pointing in different directions. There are hints of elements everywhere and we can't figure it out and are frustrated.
 
Amy figures out that that using the magic that matches the symbol activates the pillars. WE figure out the order based on what was in the mirrors above.
 
We then have to take the sounds that they make and balance them out making a song. This makes the pedestal in the middle dissapate. A second Lyra appears with a harp. We have to make con saves now. What?
 
Franz and Caz end up asleep. Real Lyra casts silence on the fake lyra. We can't seem to attack her. Tempest ends up banishing Lyra. This causes her and her shadow self to disappear to another plane.
 
Lyra and shadow Lyra speak. Lyra, instead of being angry and working against herself, they talk and make peace. Apparently this is an aspect of Lyra that was her when she was once a tiefling, and she's angry with herself. Lyra says hey, we are gonna get Faenor back together. I"m gonna need your fiery personality to do it. They make up and Lyra looks like herself again and reappears in front of her friends.
 
The pedestal in the middle reveals the shard. Tempest grabs it and it joins with the other shards. We see a dark mystical swirl and a hazelnut being lead by flies? Are we high? alseep? Is this a trick? I do not know. The flies are tiny little skeletal flies??
 
It's like a wagon with long spider legs on it? It's covered in grasshopper wings? There is the tiniest trace of spiders web around it.
 
There is a little person with a whip, but it's made of crickets bones? LIke a tiny fairy guy or something? The wagoneer is a grey coated gnat? LIke, what is actually going on right now? As Lyra tries to ask what the guy with the hazelnut is doing.
 
Franz tries to capture this whole swarm of skeltal insects and hazelnut into his hand. When he does this, he sees darkness in his hand, and now the shards look like a 10 sided black diamond.
 
It radiates darkness, and when it does, the darkness swirls around it pulling Franz and the diamond into another dimension. Tempest tries to grab the diamond, and now they are both spaghetifing into the whirl.
 
As the 3 of them disappear, Lyra stands there dumbfounded with Amy and Cazadar. this is where we end.
 
Lyra needs to let Hazel know what is going on. (We find out outside of the game that this was Queen Mab that we saw, whom is the Queen of Air and Darkness). So perfect.
 
It is now the 14th of PanAelsh, roughly 12pm
