...and then one fell.

by Gabriel 'Gayle' Garcìa

* What a night! The dwarves are safe outside the city and I had enough time to return safety and get some sleep. Good, because I’d be useless without my spells.

* This group lacks direction. Mal is earnest but with no “captain” we seem to default into lengthy discussions trying to decide our next steps. All options have merit and with most members open minded, what we need is a true leader.

* It seemed like a simple plan, revisiting recent locations, get in, get out. I thought it was all “child’s play”, but now I see. I’ve HUGELY underestimated how real the dangers are. I fear we’ve lost Fox *sobs and tears*

# I should have been more prepared and had that prism out in my hand at the ready. I should have cast Invisibility on everyone, not just Struth. I should not have hesitated to attack, it was my first taste of combat. To keep feelings of failure at bay all I can concentrate on now is seeing Fox’s remains safety into the next world. I only just got over Aunt Heidi’s death.
