Session 7

we're on our way to the cranes, to fix them
 
we've crossed a small stream in the forest
 
RuHa found a pretty rock in the river
 
we've now left the forest, closer to the cranes
 
In the clearing we meet two figures who appear to be fighting
 
Ludwig runs in to stop them, RuHa follows him
 
The two people who were fighting are familiar to some of my companions, but I don't know them at all
 
This is a very complex situation all in all, I'm a bit in over my head here
 
After a lot of going back and forth the turtle guy is now locked in a cage and we walked into the camp
 
Ludwig's brother Tharian is giving some sort of speech to his righthand-men
 
The two righthand-men are called Bert and Piet
 
The two righthand-men hold different views (Bert is not very happy with the approach that Tharian is taking, while Piet is more traditional and likes this approach), and we strike up conversation with them
 
This is after Ludwig and juniper have been called inside to discuss things with Tharian
 
This section of the ivory order believes they have the right to act as a police force in the city, so they start to push that right and start to oppress people
 
Tharian is planning to smelt some of the cranes down to use the metal for armor and weapons (i dont know this)
 
Bert seems to be at least friendly with us now, thanks to some small talk and compassion from us.
 
We make our way to the pulley inn
 
I immediately down two pints of ale, from the bottom of the barrel, so it's quite strong and goopy, a loud burp follows shortly
 
In the tavern we find Ludwig's parents, and they have an in-depth conversation, they tell us to go to the cranes and speak with Korark and Gitsoen, to see if we can help them repair the cranes or something
 
Folium heard that her surrogate mom was killed and ran outside in shock, followed by RuHa
 
Ludwig's parents kinda chewed him out and then the mom slapped Juniper for standing up for him, so she went absolutely livid, needing to be held back by Ludwig, which redirected her anger at him, and then she sat down with some random guy in the corner to calm down.
 
Ludwig is now just kinda sulking with a drink, I share a moment of silent understanding with him.
