Every day, I question the strange happenings that befall me. Every day in this strange new world I am slowly becoming a part of.
And of course, the company certainly adds to my disbelief.
First of all, there's Beemic. A tough and easily-angered half-orc. Through this journey, I have observed his combat prowess and caught glimpses of his tragic history with the bugbear community. I guess, to some extent, one could call him the father of the group. While a steadfast ally, we are always the ones responsible for defusing the brawls he inevitably instigates.
Then there's our resident druid. I had never seen anyone use the powers of nature with both healing and destructive capabilities. Not before Gaia, at least. She has truly come into her own with the group, managing to best a dragon with a stream of lightning. She's also the only member of the party who has come back from death. So far.
Of all the relationships I've built, the one with Eos is the strongest. We spent eight months travelling together in the Feywild. We have seen each other through thick and thin, and I don't think I would have been able to make it through this crazy voyage without her. Besides that, her bardic power is always a quick way to defuse a situation, which is more than necessary both in the Vale and the Feywild.
Kravol, an amazing tactician and strategist, knows how to bring about a revolution from experience. I must admit, he can be quite reclusive, but I feel there's a mutual understanding that he knows exactly what he's doing. Being a kobold himself, his history is one of resentment and hardships, but this only drives him to put his all to the cause. That's what makes him a great leader.
Moving on to our newest member, Bibble. There's a lot to say about Bibble. She's definitely the first weasel I have ever spoken to. She still manages to perplex me. But we must find a way to keep her bloodlust under control, no matter how sweet she usually seems.
And then there are the ones who have been lost on the way. Not everyone is as lucky as Gaia was. Myastan Dovarax, a dragon knight and a hero, was the bravest man I'd ever met. He always had our backs and fought valiantly. We'll all share a drink in his name once we return to the Feywild.
And of course, Reka the Water Spirit is still missing. While our relationship was always a little rocky, that won't stop me from putting my all into finding them, for the betterment of my friends and the Vale in its entirety.
Sure, this motley crew and our quest would seem quite insane. But when the time comes, we'll stand against Circe, against the dragonkin, against the world if we have to, together.
