Book, Cave, Portal

We went into a tower and I found a pretty box. I used Eloi's dagger to open it and found a secret book of secrets! I put it away before the others could see it because they just don't understand the power of secrets. It has weird incantations in it. It doesn't talk to me though so my book is still better. I hope Winward doesn't get hurt over this book too. Maybe I will show it to him to make sure. He's very smart about books.
 
Dreadnought told us there were two black dragons flying toward us. We decided to run to the cave. Firnix did not want to come with us because they got confused about who their mommy is. I picked them up and reminded them that we are supposed to become best friends and that Goodnight is their mom. They were very happy I helped, and so was Goodnight.
 
Winward said, "Evil is evil," and I think that may be a very important sentence. Can evil change? I would feel much better about traveling with these people if Zachary could stop being evil. Maybe I will talk to him about it to see if he wants to be good. Or at least better. That would be very nice of me I think.
 
In the cave there were many interesting things. Especially the portal. Zachary said, "draezir,"and it opened up. Firnix was scared so I Picked them up and took them through.
 
I learned some new runes from my book and decided to change one of the ones I already had, and add another one. I think the two new ones will help me and help me help the others. Well, some of the others maybe.
