Dragon Eggs

We found a very beautiful chest. It was locked so I used Eloi's dagger the way he said it could open locked things, and it worked! It was full of lots of pretties. Later we found a very beautiful key that probably goes with the chest. I put it in my pocket because I liked it so much. We also found a map, which Zachary took, and we found a note that said something like, "Send some stuff somewhere else." I took that too just in case the people in the town wanted it.
 
Another room was very scary. It had a roper and two guard drakes. It was very hard, but we killed them. In return they nearly killed Chill, and now he can't even walk. The guard drakes were guarding three black dragon eggs. I said it was lucky because now we can raise a dragon to be our friend. The others said we can't do that, but Goodnight gave me a look, and I think maybe she might be onboard. I will talk to her later to see if she wants to be friends with a dragon too.
 
Even though Chill was broken and practically dead, and all of us were pretty hurt and tired, Zachary wanted to keep going and explore more. I said that was very silly because there were probably more scary things in there and if we had another fight, we probably wouldn't make it. I said since we had the information we were sent in for, we should take it back to town and rest and that we could go back another day. Guess what? Everyone listened to me! I'm really glad because I didn't want to get killed.
 
Back in town, Zachary made us give back the necklace and ring we found, but I managed to hold on to the gems and my pretty key. As a reward we got some gold, horses, and they said they'd pay our living expenses while we were there. While I was resting I had a thought. Instead of just clobbering somebody one time, I should try clobbering them two times! I think I will try that next time.
