The Weird Grr

by Conrad Brauer

Sometimes, it's not worth it to write an entry everyday, so dear journal-- Dear journal how fucking pretentious -- SO log I guess, sometimes I will skip days. I mean we were attacked by a group of Lizardmen that led us to meeting Baaka and the rest of the turtle people here and to us meeting the masked person Kaasvar wanted us to meet. Honestly being attacked on my watch was the worst, being attacked is the worst. But at least the next day, we were lead to the home of the Tou'Don. Tou'Don.... Tou'Don... Got to remember that.

Well, staying with them for a day was interesting, we trained, they fed us and treated us kindly. It was rather... nice. Too bad it all went to hell the night after training. Apparently the Lizard men were able to sneak in through the waterways, and they stole away two of the Tou'Don, injured Baaka and killed Deer. The fact that we weren't able to save one stings

Baaka, when we fixed him up a bit, told us where we would probably find the missing along with the lizard men. It was just a days away, and none of us really rested, what with Yitoshk pushing us to continue on. Luckily when we got close, the rest of us were able to get him to slow down for at least a short rest. When that was done, Ashe and I went sneaking around to find where the missing people were. We found some gold and a bunch of rusted metal, so uh... we kept the gold between us and then left the silver in the chest for the others to assume that was all that was in the chest and then went back to sneaking. Yitoshk, Kevin and ... Cybil killed the Lizardmen standing guard to another cave. This cave though, it reeked of toxin, and the deeper we went the stronger the stench became. I hated it. It was vile. IT SMELLED LIKE THE BACK ALLY APOTHECARIES THAT DIDN'T MEET NISIARAN STANDARDS.

Grr was an abysal.... a Hezrou. He emitted toxin from his very pores and only I and Yitoshk, it seemed, fell victim to it. I think I got really lucky.... He almost killed me. But we killed it, and ended up bringing Olo back to base to feed Kaasvar's need of having a Tou'don join the company.
