Flight!

After escaping the attack from the Burning Mammoth Tribe, the Broken Tusk set out on the road moving away from the area of the Green Moon Ceremony (Rock Loom). We tried to stick generally to grasslands, heading east. On the 2nd morning we were called to Grandfather Eiwa's tent. On his deathbed he told us the rest of the story of the Frozen Flame. It had been left in the care of Syarstik, a spirit in the form of a great cat at Red Cat cave. Unfortunately, sometime after that, the Frozen Flame was stolen from Syarstik. The tribe never knew who took it or where it was taken. Grandfather Eiwa asked us to go to Red Cat cave to speak with Syarstik to see if they recalled anything that might help us to find and, possibly, reclaim the Frozen Flame.
On the 3rd day we found a Hadrosaurid, looking skittish, nearby. It seemed reluctant to fight. We noticed some traps in the nearby grass. Springing into action, we attempted to tame the creature while others disabled the traps. However, as we moved closer, we noticed 3 creatures coming from some nearby trees, directly toward us. 2 Pugwampi were led by a Batterfoot. We made short work of them, while Nic kept the Hadrosaurid calm. After the fight, we cleared the traps for everyone's safety. Tovah managed to tame the dinosaur, then we took it back to camp. We learned that the elders had decided we would be able to look for the Red Cat cave, out of respect for Grandfather Eiwa's last request. As more days passed without incident, we were asked to head towards a large lake on our normal migration route.
Shortly before reaching the lake we found the sight of an old battlefield. We found standards that belonged to at least 3 different Orc tribes. A stand at the center, that Anvar was able to identify as an Apaku, held a magic shield on the stand. As he identified the Apaku though, several objects animated to attack us! Some sort of humanoid Construct & 4 floating swords sprang from the dirt to attack. Before the fight was over 4 of the 5 of us had been dropped. We finally managed to drop the Construct, which caused the Animated Blades to also drop. We healed up before retrieving the magical shield. It turned out to be Cold Iron & had a +1 armor rune on it. We rejoined the tribe for the rest of the day.
