Road's Dream.

Walking. A void of endless black but with each step I take a small hint of light appears quickly to be snuffed out.
 
Water or is it? Too dark to tell but I must keep walking forward. My wrists? My arms? My legs? They all feel a tug as I am pulled to my knees.
 
Focusing, I press my hand where I had been walking. The briefest hint of resistance as I push through to another realm? No. Reality? I haven’t the faintest clue but it is blinding as endless light is in my view.
