Back in Phandolin ....

Entering back into town we hear the gong of a bell, the Smithy pounding his anvil, and the twittering of townspeople talking. Osha is going to visit Harbin and show him her giant tooth she collected in the spider cave. Caldae wants to go return the woodcutters ashes to his wife Myrna. Alleraia is going to visit Adabra to give her some of the items she found on the cavern and see if she can do an alchemy with the items. There is a largish crowd gathered at the Inn. We discovered that the bell being rung is originating from the shrine at the center of town. Siegrane heads to the Inn to make more home brew.
 
Caldae asks Pip to show her the way to the wood cutter's cottage. Nilsa, the woodcutters daughter, answers the door. But she informs Caldae that Myrna is not accepting visitors. Caldae gently prods her to go get her mother, and Nilsa disappears into the house. Myrna comes to the door, and Caldae informs her that she found her husbands body, and hands her the cremated ashes. Myrne begins to tear up, but thanks Caldae for giving her closure. Myrna feels indebted to Caldae, and tries to think of someway to repay the kindness, to no avail. Nilsa tells her mother that they should share "the story" in exchange for Caldae brining her fathres ashes back.
 
"A big army of orcs came down from the mountain and fought grandfathers village and they took all the gold from the village and put it down in a cellar for good people like you to go find it" No one has ever found the gold that is said to be hidden near a shrine, and Myrna encourages them to try to find it. Caldae and Pip awkwardly say goodbye and leave the cottage.
 
Caldae asks if Pip knows anything about the white figure in the field. Pip says it is Garaele. Caldae is going to check out the shrine and then go to the Inn.

Osha enters the townhall and finds Harbin at his desk. He's a fatass. Osha slams the giant tooth down on his desk, and proceeds to tell him about all the problem critters that she and her friends have disposed of and demands that Harbin pay them for their troubles. Harbin tries to talk his way out of paying any money. He asks if Osha found the Wizard, to which Harbin says he only agreed to pay for the capture of the wizard. Osha demands a partial sum for dealing with the spider problem. Darren had told Harbin about the spider problem, so he is willing to pay 100 gold. Osha accepts. Harbin asks if we learned anymore about his missing friend Gundrin from the Lords Alliance, from the Triboar pass, to which Osha says no. Harbin is most concerned about the random dragon attacks. He wants Osha to help with a dwarven fortress so they can use it to take shelter from the dragon, but it's populated with Banshees and is quite dangerous. He offers 250 gold for finding Gundrin. Osha asks for a map to where this place is, and shows interest in taking up the quest.
 
Osha leaves and goes back to the Inn.

Once our party meets back at the Inn, there is a Bard sitting in the corner singing a sad song. The townsfolk seem to be gathered there mourning their fellow townsfolk. Pip walks in and has a joyful reunion with his father. Seeing a Goblin enter behind him, he questions Droops presence, as the other townfolk also stop and stare. Osha approaches Toblin and regales him with Pip's heroic deeds down in the caverns. Toblin offers a round of drinks on the house for our entire party. The townsfolk are starting to warm up to us, as they realize how effective we have been at ridding their town of spiders an other annoyances. Osha informs us of the gold Harbin paid us for our troubles in the cavern, 25 gold each! She also tells us of the quest Harbin offered up at the base of Sword mountain. Alleraia offers up the Darren mentioned Conniberry Ruins, which matches the story Caldae and Pip got from Myrna.
