His relationship with his older sister, Nadja, remains a guiding influence despite her physical absence. Her decision to leave Guthram and pursue art in Breckheim stirred in him a mixture of envy and admiration, leaving Nilus quietly reflective about his own future. Conversely, his interactions with his mother, Iva, remain marked by tension and sharp criticism—her harsh treatment following the loss of his younger brother Vasil has hardened him, teaching him resilience but also wariness.
