Personal history

Son of Haan Leone and Ifriti Leone, Dante was born into a family of adventurers. The three settled into the bustling city of Port Galm when Dante was born. The empire's city held opportunity for two talented tieflings to do local work, but neither parent was able to give up the lifestyle of an adventurer.
 
During the early years of Dante's life one of the parents took turns raising him while the other explored ruins, thwarted brigands, and raided lairs of mad wizards. By the time Dante was old enough to attend a local education, both of his parents were back to fully adventuring and balancing the role of parents with that of their profession.
 
Although both of his parents were very much alive, Dante was raised alongside orphans of the city. He would convince orphanages he was parentless during Haan and Ifriti's multi-week heists that left him alone. It was a big scene when his parents would return and basked in their tales of excitement that appeared larger than life.
 
He spent his childhood seeking out adventures with the assistance of the orphans he befriended. As time went on the children became teenagers and teenagers adults. His friends went down different paths. Some ended up in dungeons or working for the thieves' guild. Others settled down as laborers with families of their own.
 
One morning after his rounds he realized that his parents had not been back in years now. His friends can't go with him on his path to adventure and glory. Yet this is his calling and he has outgrown the life here.
 
Donning his father's old jacket as a lucky charm, Dante grabbed a bag of his traveling gear and set off to distant shores where a fresh adventure awaits.

Education

Dante received a combination of a street education with those of local charitable organizations like orphanages.
