Some bards can charm the pant's off even savage killers, the best can charm even their would-be hunters.

Early history and Call of the Wild
Darr was born to the
Goregrinder tribe in the northwest of the shifter wastes. His mother was a formidable warrior of the clan and his father was a Harrigon bard. Known as a runt that wouldn't amount to much, Darr was forced as a youngster to train with the clan storytellers, sparking his love for legends and myths. His predatory instincts from his mother never quite dulled however and so trained with the axe, earning the right to train and fight with the others after beating a boy five years his senior bloody.
When Darr's call of the wild came, he swore to come back the greatest warrior the world had seen and become a legend in his own right. Shortly after joining up with
Lokz and Benny, he journeyed with
Grunkle's Angels as a founding member. Through their journeys, Darr became the group's vanguard, always being the first into a fight. Darr would inadventantly break the mother's seal while fighting Shriekers by throwing a burning cart at them while they were in a crop field. During the slaughter of the shriekers, he held the steps of the Mausoleum, allowing Lokz's magic to do its work. It was at this time he gained the epithet of the Hammer, upon becoming champion of
The White City's fighting pit. He also killed a death Dragon in the
Mire of lost souls.
Upon finding out his people had gone to war against the northern undead he choose to stay with his group for one more fight, leaving after the
Battle of Voidcape on his long journey north to rejoin his clan. Joining the conflict in the north Darr quickly rising in prestige and position among the Tribes. Despite choosing not to end his call, he was leading entire groups of Shifters in battle, often as part of the vanguard. His ability to shatter even the lines of undead paladin's with ease had his people calling in 'inexorable', while his paladin allies took to calling him the fang of the north. During the chaos of the battle of high town, Darr held the main gate with Grunkle's Angels, holding back part of the horde, being gifted a reforged
Axe of Judgement in honour of his duty. In the aftermath he led a group of shifters in clearing up Frostmourn of rampaging undead.
Darr would re-join Grunkle's angles as they journeyed to close the void tear, He would retake his place as the first into a fight, often dealing with the biggest foe while
László defended the the rest of the party. During the New years ball at
Tourlu of 123 Fey Darr, would find himself dancing with
Sardia, threating her and getting threatened in return. In the battle of the
Sardian Ruins, Darr would be at the front of the Angels helping get them to the colosseum of Blood. He would also be the one to land the killing blow on Sardia's champion, ripping it's head off while fuelled with
Hynadon's fury. Though it would become apparent he had contracted blue fury at some point in the battle, he seemed cured by the end, only the icy blue veins visible on his neck showed he once had it.
Vanishing into the north
After the battle Darr celebrated with shifters of all clans, being treated like a warchief in his own right, before returning home. Despite having his pick of which tribe he wanted to join, Darr decided refuse all and journey throughout the wastes. Much of his adult life became surrounded in legend, though he would pop up at tribes semi regularly trading work and stories for supplies. Darr would forgo tradition again in his fiftieth year and ignore the advice of the
Crystalline tribe elders and not go to Sepa Acadamy long term, only visiting to tell stories.
Darr would be last seen by the frozen lake, joining a group to search for a missing child, she would return crying with Darr's fur cloak wrapped round her. The girl told that Darr found her being attacked by winter wolves, he drove the wolves back, gave her his cloak and told her to run. Though the wolves' bodies were out on the ice of the lake, Darr never was.
