Physical Description

Slim and small, she is not the strongest of the pack. However, her build makes her agile and her small hands and fingers can get inbetween a lot of hard to reach places.

Body Features

Yeleni wears miltiple earrings on each ear. Also, she has a geometrical tattoo that resembles her family. She wears her hair in a mohawk with braids on the sides.

Facial Features

Yeleni has bright sparkling hazel eyes, which are almond shaped and the outer corners are a little tilted. She has a soft nose with a broad nasal base. Moreover, she has sharp collar bones and full lips, which are usually formed in a smile with a slight smirk.

Identifying Characteristics

In a crowd she doesn't stand out much because of her height, but her mohawk is quite defining, as is her colorful blue decorated vest and blue slippers. When you first meet Yeleni you are probably first drawn to her friendly eyes and her charming and likeable personality.

Physical quirks

She has many earrings and one geometrical tattoo on her left arm. When she is stressed or thinking hard she bites her lip.

Apparel & Accessories

She wears a stained blue vest with an intrecate design over a white top, combined with beige harem pants. Draped around her waist is a leather belt with a small pouch. On her feet she wears beatifully decorated blue slippers that look very comfy. She has two large gold bracers on both of her arms which reach from her lower arm to her hands, with some type of grey/blue gem imbedded above the hand area of the bracers.

Special abilities

She received magical gifts from a noble Dao Genie, giving her the ability to cast spells and the ability to vanish inside a vessel: her left blue slipper.

Mentality

Personal history

Yeleni grew up in a large city in the drylands of Kildar. There she lived in a large slum-like area, together with her grandfather and sister. She barely knew her parents, they passed away due to illness when she was only 6 years old. Life in the slum was hard on her and from a young age she learned to scavange and steal food, which her grandfather strongly disapproved of. However, she was very good at it and she almost never got caught. The few times she did get caught, she always managed to talk her way out of the situation.

Education

She never had a proper education, because they had no money, although her grandfather always did his best to teach Yeleni and her sister a thing or two. Her sister was the bright one though, Yeleni was usually distracted and restless. Also, when she was young, whenever their mother was around she used to tell Yeleni and her sister stories about places far far away. These moments are precious memories for Yeleni.

Employment

Yeleni was never properly employed and for a while she used to run errands for a gang in her hometown. Here she perfected her skills in stealthing and stealing. However, when she found out some of the cruelties the gang was responsible for she tried to find a way out. Thats when she started to make plans to get out of the city.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Finding the mysterious hidden cave in the desert and the Dao genie inside, which made her able to escape from the criminal gang of her hometown.

Mental Trauma

The passing of her parents when she was 6 years old. This makes her afraid of herself, or people close to her, getting ill. She is very vigilant of any signs of sickness and she is a bit of a hypochondriac herself.

She is toughened by living in a rough and criminalized area. She has a habit of sleeping and hiding in small spaces, that's where she feels safe and comfortable. Even if she would have a nice big room, she would seek out the smallest corner to curl up in.

Morality & Philosophy

As she grew up in a large city where there was a large gap between the poor and rich, she often firsthandedly experienced how prestige and wealth is accompanied by dominance and greed. The small crimes she performed were always aimed against the most greedy of nobility in the city. In Yeleni's eyes, these nobles are the true criminals dominating the city. Besides, it's not stealing if she needs it more than someone else, right?

Motivation

Ever since Yeleni was little, she has had a drive for adrenaline, adventure and getting into trouble. Driven by her mother's tales of far away places she always had a craving feeling to someday leave the place where she grew up. However, she and her family have never had the means to explore or get out of town. Even if they had, Yeleni couldn't have left her family unless there was a good reason to do so.

Her grandfather: Baba; her sister, Narissa; and her three nieces: Reya, Ayma, and Imene.
Yeleni and her Baba don't talk much, but they show they care for eachother by running errands or cooking for eachother. Narissa is three years older than Yeleni and they are very close and share everything with eachother. Narissa has three children, whom Yeleni loves very much.

Hobbies & Pets

Her pet mouse is named Zoya. Zoya knows some tricks like fetch and jumping hoops, and she usually resides on Yeleni's shoulder or in the inside pocket of her vest.
