The Chronicles of Kildar

The events of September 27th
The adventurers were hired by the fat lord Virgil Valenwood to escort him, the Messenger Guild Paladin ser Richard and a precious and secretive cargo on the ship “the Pearl of the Tides” They navigated an unnatural storm and dangerous siren-infested waters. The players eventually got too curious and opened the cargo with great effort. They discovered that:
-Inside the precious cargo was a shapeshifted little robin-bird: the archduid Corellion of the Bluewaves
-Corellion escaped thanks to the players and shapeshifted into a massive kraken
-Lord Valenwood was ripped in two by a shapeshifted kraken-druid-corellion
-The pearl of the Tides sank
-The crew likely drowned
-The paladin sir Richard likely drowned/crushed by the kraken
-The players escaped the ship and swam/rowboated ashore
-The players were found by Corellion and his fellow druids who thanked them
-The players received gold and health potions as a reward
-All decided to keep their mouth shut about the incident
 
The events of October 11th
The players were invited for a work-vacation at the “Vaelors Refuge” resort. They assisted the resort and the Messenger Guild inquisition into the death of lord Virgil Valenwood and the paladin ser Richard of the Messenger Guild (who were killed indirectly by the actions of the players in the previous session). They found out the following:
-The Resort and the Druid Cove were in conflict, because the resort is planning to expand, that would destroy all nature surrounding it in the process.
-Valeria Valenwood and Reginald Roundshield (family guard) were having an affair, the Valenwood children are possibly bastards.
-The youngest Valenwood son; Valentine was having a secret Romeo&Juliet-esque relationship with the archdruidess-in-training Elara
-Virgil Valenwood and ser Richard of the Messenger guild were confirmed dead by the Messenger Guild Inquisition.
-The Valendwoods had kidnapped the Archdruid Corellion in the previous session, he escaped and killed lord Valenwood and ser Richard in his escape.
-The Druids of the Cove were planning eco-terrorism attacks on the Resort to remove it for good.
Thanks to the players actions:
-The inquisition has accepted the deaths of lord Valenwood and ser Ricahrd as one from natural causes and has payed out the resort a ‘broken contract fee’ for their failure to deliver the cargo
-The Valenwood estate has received 1 million gold from his life insurance from the Banking Guild
-The payout of the life insurance was enough to save the family and resort from financial ruin
-The adventurers brokered a deal between the resort and the druids where the resort will expand in the form of ‘enjoy nature’ experiences provided by the druids. Where the rich and elite from Kildar can come and enjoy nature while taking copious amounts of drugs and alcohol.
-The dreamy-poetic youngest son of the Valenwoods and the druid-in-training Elara strengthened their secret romantic (Romeo&Juliet-esque) relationship by negotiating the rest of the peacedeal for the two sides
-This has prevented a war between the potentially eco-terrorist druids and the ecocidal corporate resort.
-The players were royally rewarded and got to stay at the resort for another Week
