Personal history

The streets are all Teela has ever known, whatever she needs she begs or steals for. She's never had "friends" or known any "family", nor has she really cared to - it's too dangerous for that kind of thing. Trusting the wrong person can - and will - get you killed. Impulsive and curious by nature, Teela tends to get herself into trouble - even when she doesn't mean to. Her penchant for pocketing any interesting thing she comes across surely doesn't help.
 
Teela was in Shendra because she has been...stalking someone, someone who has stolen something precious to her, something she has had for as long as she can remember. A necklace, with a pendant made of a light green gem, carved into the shape of a cat. When her prey fled the city due to the encroaching ice, Teela knew she had to follow - and follow she did, leaving behind many an empty pocket, picked clean of gold. That's how she ended up meeting the rest of the group during migrant processing in Adara.
