Spell Quirks
Misty Step: As if she’s walked through fog, leaves her all cold and damp and generally feeling icky.
Goodberry: May taste bad (roll 1d100, 1 is revolting, 100 is delicious), meets days nutritional needs but doesn’t feel like you’ve eaten.
Hunter’s Mark: If successful, target appears to be mostly dead to her, looking wounded/near death. She sees it the way it really is as well, but faintly, as if she sees through its outward appearance and sees its dead state inside. May see blood trails that aren’t there if tracking. Despite this, she also can’t help but giggle when she looks at it.
Absorb Elements: When absorbed, Olivia's skin grows pale and her veins appear beneath her skin in a prominent color depending on the element type: green for acid, blue for cold, red for fire, yellow for lightning, and purple/black for thunder.
Comprehend Languages: Understands the literal meaning of any language as per spell description, but can’t understand nonliteral language (idioms, figures of speech, etc) for an hour afterwards.

Charm Person: If successful, the charmed person and Olivia can’t use pronouns, only names, a la Rose and Jack in Titanic.

Personal history
Olivia's father was a member of the Pillarhand diplomats. Olivia grew up observing statecraft and determined at a young age that anyone who demanded respect without doing anything to earn it was not worth her respect in the first place. Her father, for example, was doting and kind but treated Olivia as an outsider in the family, like she was too young to handle anything but play-teas and embroidery. She never felt he respected her and therefore she tried to convince herself she didn't need his approval.
But one person she did respect was her brother, Silvain. Silvain treated Olivia like an equal, and shared interesting things he learned with her, like political gossip and how to shoot with a crossbow. However, Olivia felt apart from Silvain often. He was prone to depression and mood swings, particularly whenever Olivia brought up their moonfather. Whenever he would withdraw, Olivia would feel left out of a sadness she wanted to feel but couldn't remember her moonfather enough to do so. Though many of the other dignitaries had children her age, they too seemed to view her as an outsider for some reason.
So, Olivia learned to entertain herself. She enjoyed exploring the Wilds more than state dinners and the like, and travels to other regions were the best part of her father’s job. She slipped out of a particularly boring lesson with an etiquette teacher to play in the woods one afternoon and ended up in The Whimsey.
At first Olivia was frightened and sure she would die among the unexpected (and often dangerous) peculiarities of The Whimsey. But with grit and moxie, she survived a day, then a week, then another week. After a short time, she came across Aeden Brightray, a kindly old fae who took Olivia in and taught her most of what she needed to know about The Whimsey. With time, Olivia began to get her feet under her in this new environment.
Eventually, she flourished there, becoming a renowned tracker and marksman. She found work with the Summer Court, hunting and/or eliminating their enemies. Though the work is steady, most of the fae around Olivia treated her as an anomaly or curiosity, content with her results but never more than cordial. Olivia spent years trying to make social inroads among the Summer Court fae, but eventually realized she might never be truly accepted.
As time passed, and courtesy of the strange magic of the place, she forgot about her former life and spent nearly two decades there. Often, while tracking through the woods, she would begin absentmindedly carving. Eventually she noticed that it seemed she was carving the same thing every time without thinking about it. Olivia began to wonder whose face it was she was carving in the dolls and statues she was making. With some distant guilt she began to remember that she'd had a life before the Whimsey. She became determined to find her father again, but had no clear way back.
Things changed when she met Riv by chance. Riv was a Marijinn with a strong desire to get as far away from his troubles as possible, and he could think of no further place than outside The Whimsey. Together they encountered a shadowy figure in the Gloamwood who described the Voidphase to them and offered a chance to move through it and emerge on the other side. This creature, who identified itself only as Lekhsinkka, was certain the destination was Olivia's home. It's circular logic made communication and clarity nearly impossible, but that was not enough to dissuade Riv and Olivia. They agreed to allow themselves to be transported.
As Lekhsinkka's magic wove around her, Olivia felt something being drawn from her. It was an unpleasant, emptying feeling like a sudden and complete voiding of her insides. She awoke back in the material plane, but despite having spent 20 years in the Whimsey, her body was the same age she as when she left. After the initial shock had receded, she took stock and realized she had returned to Feodris as an 11-year-old girl.
Her memories of the Whimsey are hazy, and she is frustrated by the fact she’s in an 11 year old body, but also by the fact that she is confused about what happened in the Whimsey. She has skills and vague memories of a life lived, and feels a frequent disconcerting sense somewhat akin to déjà vu.
She has a presence that seems ill fitting for a girl her apparent age, as if she is faking it and acting how an 11 year-old is supposed to. She is prone to mood swings, and these can affect the environment around her, with plants and flowers blooming when she is happy and wilting when she is angry or sad. Likewise her shadow seems to dance when she is happy, or shuffle its feet and lag behind when she is sad, though these effects are only noted out of the corner of one’s eyes and her shadow seems perfectly normal if one focuses on it.
She whittles most nights, or if her mind wanders, though her current creations are far simpler than what she thinks she could once do, and don’t look like anyone in particular. She still feels a bond to them, and the first one she made upon returning to Feodris she has dressed in clothes made from grasses and small animal hides. She’s not sure who it’s supposed to be, but it serves as her spellcasting focus. She carries it around like a doll, but again it seems like she’s play acting at being a child, and it doesn’t seem like the sort of doll that anyone should be particularly fond of.
When Riv and Olivia arrived in Feodris, once the shock of her new circumstances had worn off, made their way quickly to New Jaarnard to reconnect with Olivia's family. Unfortunately, they find the family has been long absent from that Keep. In following up with her father's old organization, though, Olivia learns he was transferred to Keep: Grasmere shortly after he suffered what the files referred to as "a family trauma."
Given this new lead, Riv and Olivia set out for Grasmere, but upon arrival they find the Grasmerian Pillarhand is much more corrupt and they decide to shake down Liv and Riv for further information. Olivia and Riv scrape the money together and pay the bribe, but according to the documentation, Han and Silvain never arrived in Grasmere and the trail goes cold. Penniless and without a next destination, Riv finds a curious help wanted ad looking for a "multifaceted cook" and an "unexpected barmaid" to help with re-opening a dive bar in one of the rough parts of town. But, the pay seems reasonable and they have few other options, so they head to The Stewed Prune, hoping for the best.
