A short, smart and sometimes quite surprisingly urbane Goblin, Shrag likes nothing more than a good fire and "shinies".
Of recent times these "shinies" need not be trinkets, instead knowledge too is "shiny"...

Personal history
Born to the clans Boss Mother Fungusbloom, a runt of the litter and almost labelled a pariah, his early start in life was not the best. His mother was actually “Madam Bloom” a renowned Goblin crime lord in the underworld of Baldurs Gate.
From his birth, Mother Fungusbloom was determined to not to have sired a failure and put Shrag under enormous pressure to perform, his formative first 13 years were spent bullied by his siblings and being expected to meet his mothers exacting requirements.
Given Shrag was a little on the weedy side but actually highly intelligent, Mother Fungusbloom's initial disappointment slowly turned to a wry joy and rather than face exile, his skills were funnelled into becoming a highly effective spy.
Around his 16th year, during a key heist where Shrag was acting lookout, boredom and idle curiosity set in and Shrags attention wandered, especially when he came across a book that "talked to him" It was the first time anyone had actually talked to Shrag without some form of hurled abuse or schooling on how to do better. The book nicknamed "Natasha" apparently desired knowledge and sensed a similar hunger and drive to learn in Shrag.
A short while later, a firebolt out of the blue, a suddenly burning building and the books panicked demand to be saved, found Shrag standing alone in an alley way. Looking up at the burning building, book in hand...Shrag gave a smokey cough and his life changed forever.
Toying with the idea that the heist had just gone south...the building was on fire and he'd “forgot” about the party he was with, Shrag decided it might be an idea to avoid any any unnecessary unpleasantries when he got back and questions such as "Where is everyone?”....after all "Things Happen.."
Pausing for a brief moment over the fate of the party, be they alive, burnt or currently explaining their presence to the local watch, Shrag listened to the book and decided this was an ideal opportunity to go freelance. Mother Fungusbloom would surely understand?
In the following years he developed the love of magic and albeit the book taught him initially (and still advises on key areas), Shrag became a genuinely an accomplished wizard in his own rights.
Shrag having seen this kind of power before in the clans Booyahg's decided this was a way to prove himself and he would become the greatest Booyahg his clan had ever seen...maybe even the greatest goblin Booyahg ever seen? (Some would argue compared to the standard Booyahg, Shrag may already be considered the equivalent to the humans "archmages"...and may just need to start considering a signature spell!)
Now in his 20th year Shrag has settled in with a group that seems more than just some other "party" and currently he see's no need to seek more random employment.
Depending how things go with this group, his path may even lead back as far as Baldurs Gate. Exactly what reception he may receive, who knows, given her network “Madam Bloom” most likely knows what he’s been up to, it just may or may not be open arms when he returns...
Education
School of Hard Knocks..."Madam Bloom"
Streets of Baldurs Gate
Nat and the Awakened book
Employment
Spy....it's a secret...
Mercenary spellcaster and hunter of "Shinies!" (Be it trinkets or knowledge)
Accomplishments & Achievements
Shrag's greatest achievement was breaking free of normal goblin society and making his own way in the world.
Failures & Embarrassments
"Things Happened..." The loss of a previous group where Shrag became separated during a heist that went wrong. Fire and a book may be involved...
Mental Trauma
Deep down Shrag does feel somewhat guilty over the unknow fate of his previous group, he puts the path he follows to that of powers outside his control.
He does now try to somewhat atone for any wrong doing and aims not to land his current companions into hot water...
Intellectual Characteristics
Shrag surprised everyone including himself by displaying traits of intelligence way above the norm expected of one of the Goblin race.
This has allowed him to become way more than any previous mere booyahg caster. You could almost put him in goblin eyes as the equivalent to the great human spellcasters of the ages.
Most of his training has come from the awakened book he "acquired" but Shrag is also now an accomplished wizard in his own right. Despite the occasional telling off from Nat, Shrag trains and learns like any other mage.
Morality & Philosophy
Neutral in nature, Shrag is not above doing what needs doing to get the job done and questions little the legality of it (unless steered by his peers). Likewise if the situation requires it, he will happily provide services that some may consider "good"
If it advances his goals of gaining knowledge and becoming the realms greatest Booyahg caster, he will happily follow along. (He is also still partial to the occasional gathering of more materialistic shinies...not all habits die hard!)
person.sexuality
Shrag has had little opportunity to experiment too much with relationships. There was this halfling barmaid once though who caught his attention...
person.gender_identity
Shrag identifies himself as a 'manly' goblin, though he works equally well with men or women, as long as the job pays well and advances his status, he cares little who is in charge.
Known Languages
Common, Goblin
Personality
Motivation
To become the greatest Goblin thief Booyahg caster of all times...knowledge is power and the more power he has, the less Shrag will be downtrodden again!

Shrag loves shiny things and has to keep certain urges and old habits under control.
Also, Fire - fire is always good...
Personality Quirks
Shrag since meeting Will, has gained a true love for running rampant on boars, goats, lions or pretty much whatever comes out of her bags of tricks!
He loves re-enacting the heroic (to goblins) tales of mass Goblin Cavalry charges and the terror they reigned upon the unworthy...
Hygiene
Generally clean for a goblin, Shrag has been at times know to revel in smell of burning and doesn't mind being the odd sooty and singed encounter, especially as his clothes of mending don't stay messy for long.
