Sir Maximus was born into a noble Leonnart family in the prosperous city of Elturel. From a young age, it was clear that Maximus possessed a strong sense of justice and a deep commitment to serving the greater good. The Valorians were renowned for their unwavering dedication to justice, honor, and the protection of the realm. From a young age, Maximus was groomed to carry on the family's legacy as a noble and defender of the realm.
 
Maximus's childhood was marked by a strict upbringing. He was taught the code of chivalry, the virtues of honesty, courage, and compassion, and the importance of serving the kingdom and its people. He trained in combat and etiquette, excelling in both areas. His parents, Lord and Lady Leonnart, instilled in him a deep sense of responsibility towards the common folk and a duty to eradicate evil wherever it may threaten the kingdom.
 
As a young squire, Maximus excelled in his studies and martial training. He was not only skilled with a sword and shield but also displayed a remarkable aptitude for healing and divine magic. His instructors saw him as a shining example of what a paladin should be: honorable, compassionate, and dedicated to upholding the ideals of righteousness and
order.
 
Just recently, Maximus came of age, and thus he was knighted in a grand ceremony, attended by his numerous family members & taking the oath as a paladin to uphold the principles of justice and protect the innocent. There was a grand celebration for his achievements attended by his numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
 
Over the last few weeks, he has been working under the local Leader of the Order of the Gauntlet, Ontharr Frume. Lately he has been paired up with another member of the Gauntlet and worshipper of Tyr, a female Tiefling who goes by the name, Raven.
 
Now, Sir Maximus of House Leonnart travels to “A Pair of Black Antlers” Tavern where a secret meeting has been convened and Sir Maximus has been beckoned alongside Raven. Tying up his trusty steed outside, he follows Ontharr and Raven into the tavern just outside of Elturel...his story truly begins here.
