  Serena hails from the illustrious group of warriors known as the Hellriders, dedicated to protecting Elturel and its people. Her father's sacrifice in a battle against a shadow dragon left a profound impact on her, shaping her into the determined and conflicted individual she is today. Serena's Drow heritage adds an additional layer of complexity to her character. The surface world and its prejudices present both challenges and opportunities for her. Despite the stereotypes associated with Drow, Serena seeks to prove herself through her actions and musical talents. Serena's proficiency in the College of Tragedy reflects her intimate connection with sorrowful tales and melancholic melodies. Her bardic abilities are a reflection of her desire to express the pain and loss she has experienced, turning them into sources of inspiration. Witnessing her home city of Elturel sink into the Nine Hells has added another layer of grief and turmoil to Serena's already burdened soul. She has since travelled with an allied adventuring party belonging to various faction to Baldur's Gate where she hopes to better explore and understand what happened to Elturel...and if it can be saved.
