Physical Description
Like most Firbolg, Hibiscus doesn't stand -- he looms. His several lifetimes' worth of forced labor has given him a muscular frame to complement his uncommon height.
Identifying Characteristics
Hibiscus' body is covered in a dense lattice-work of scar tissue. His forearms and face have been painstakingly carved with a delicate, flowery motif -- the result of a mistress with an unhealthy level of fascination with aesthetics. Other, less visible, parts of his body are marked with irregular mementos of several centuries' brutal punishments.
Apparel & Accessories
Hibiscus carries his most treasured possession -- a lute beautifully carved from a solid piece of silverthorne gifted to him by the Five -- slung across his back. He plays it with the deft skill of long practice and cradles it against himself while he sleeps. Its strings stir and thrum with inexplicable power when his emotions are heightened.

Hibiscus was not born a slave. His life prior to his enslavement is a mystery, but the scars across his body give testament to the brutality of the Weryn slave-tamers who took him from his home. During his centuries of bondage, he met only two masters who treated him with any semblance of respect or decency. Dara -- who found in Hibiscus a kindred, suffering soul -- and one other of whom Hibiscus refuses to speak.
