Vnana's rival. A mechanic at the Voyad Shipyard who works on Sky Trawlers. Was in the same battalion as Vnana during her Burden. The two tried to outdo each other on battlefield in basically every way, from counting the number of vehicles they had repaired that returned back from a fight to counting the kills their vehicles scored during a battle. It is a somewhat friendly rivalry, though the two wouldn't call each other friends.

Old vecora, Jat Taos.

Vnana's mentor. Taught her engineering and mechanics. Left Geshal to travel the world and settled in Patresh before the Unification War after meeting his husband. Designs skimmers in Kar Zevasi and sells off designs to the companies that bid the highest.

Mother. Works for the Order of Records in Darsahak, lives in a cheap apartment in the Second Canton. Helped Vnana find engineering apprenticeship and paid for it.

Twin (fraternal) sister. Lives with Vnana at her Redhill apartment. Works as a runeweaver maintaining the zarium cables that power household and industrial weaves in the city.

Shaqri "Irazath" Omesta

Younger brother (age 14). Lives with mother still.

Azi "Theminar" Omesta

Older brother (age 22). Works as a banker at the Treasury.

Tero "Hinazam" Omesta

Older brother (age 25). Estranged from the family, moved to Kar Mahar and joined the Guardians. Vnana hasn't seen or heard from him since she left to be trained in Kar Zevasi.
