With a phone in one hand and an actual pistol in the other, a young lady points the camera at an unsuspecting goblin. In a single screenshot, the two swap places as the lady takes down the goblin's cohorts with a single wave of thunderous noise, letting it watch in horror as she ends its life with a fire of the pistol.
 
Syoni was born and raised in Epoka, Lilica. Also known as the City Untouched by Strife, it is a place constantly filled with the newest of technological advances, some of which haven't reached the other parts of Lilica due to its seclusion. Due to Syoni's upbringing in this bustling megapolis, she is up to date with the latest of technology, inventions, and the like. This is perfect for someone who considered technomancy to be something to master as she gets older. WIth parents and peers who expect highly of her, Syoni makes sure she gives them what they came for, though it came with the expense of her not being the most amiable. She is incapable of going on with a normal conversation without the usual sidetalk, low-key insults, and sarcasm, which leads to her hardly having any friends, and hardly being a trustworthy ally. However, there are few who seem to break past her grumpy demeanor and see her for who she truly is...

She enjoys her two cloaks, only because she's this overdramatic. One of her cloaks happen to be an indigo one that has the infamous black-magenta checkerboard pattern inside, and it allows her to turn invisible (it's her favorite one), and the other is made out of silver cloth and seems to magicially protect her person from harm.

Specialized Equipment

Syoni would be caught DEAD without her phone. Or her pistol. Her phone camera is built in with a bunch of tools and applications in a situation for combat, and is where she keeps her spells.

Special abilities

Is an incredbily talented psionic, which stems from her father's side. On the other, an incredibly talented magician, which stems from her mother's side. Combine that and you get someone who knows the weave of reality and the weave of her own mind. Her psychic abilities range from the standard psychokinetics, hypnosis, mind manipulation, and a little bit of control over electricity and electronics. Her normal senses are heightened, and her reflexes are sharpened. She is said to have a very powerful precognition (if her zener test results are to be believed) which is a popular reason as to how she is able to react within moments, though she is obviously no clairvoyant. To Syoni, the line between magic and psionics is very blurred, to the point in which it's actually confusing and nearly impossible to determine as to which one she is using. Either way, crossing her path while she's in a bad mood is highly unwise.

Personal history

Syoni was born as Holly Rosea Alcae, a name that she has grown to deeply despise. Her parents cared too much about high academics and achievements, so much so that they ended up pressuring Syoni (and her little brother) to push to her limits until she was at the top of everything. This started giving her the growing dread of failure if she were to ever fall once, and an added bonus of a low self-esteem due to her upbringing of the mentality of not being good enough for her parents to the point in which she lacked any actual sense of self throughout her childhood. As she got older, she grew more and more apathetic to the coursework, but her intellect continued to grow, whether she liked it or not.

The truth behind Syoni's early life was that she is a clone of Sharon Alcae, who has long since been gone and confirmed dead by Epokan authorities. She retains most of her original's intelligence, and was given false memories to give the impression that she grew up.
As a clone, Syoni's nickname was Two, as she was the second clone created by her parents, with the first having fled and gone mad. She is forced to feel constant guilt and sadness when near the presence of Sharon - who refers to herself as Mary - as a constant subconscious reminder that she'll never live to anyone's expectations of her, no matter how hard she tries.



 
After graduating high school (and becoming valedictorian) she dropped her birth name out of spite for her parents and started referring to herself as Syoni Carav, wanting to step away from her parents' envision of "the perfect child" and began to grow distant from them, and grew more closer and empathetic with her brother. It was only when she finally reached her 25th birthday that she officially moved out, but continually has the regret of not moving out so soon. What she's doing now is up to anyone's guess, but she keeps it a secret to everyone else.

Education

Neptunian Access (elementary through middle school), Cosmitarix High (valedictorian), is currently studying at the University of Epoka in her 4th year.

Syoni has low self-esteem issues due to the constant pressure of perfecion her parents put on her as she grows up. Though she constantly strives to be better, she considers herself "still not good enough for everyone."

Anything related to technology and machinery is Syoni's strong point, but can't that be said for every teenager and young adult? Leans to becoming more of an engineer and computer scientist.

Likes & Dislikes

She loves technology too much that she is really unable to let go of it for a while. Syoni is also a sweets craver, though not as much as a lot. Her favorite genres of music are gothic hardcore and electronic drum and bass.
 
She dislikes actual conceited people who flaunt virtually everything about themselves, stating how they've done nothing to be in the position they are now, though it may just be a case of sour grapes due to her upbringing.

Shows excellent leadership and exhibits a superior intellect over her peers, which can be beneficial to most. Syoni is able to perform complex calculations in her head, and can retain information for long periods of time.

Vices & Personality flaws

Often manipulative, an almost unhealthy superiority complex and lack of self-esteem due to her family expecting her to be perfect. When she falls, she falls down hard. She's really lonely, despite what she claims.

Syoni's residence is an organized mess - looks cluttered, but in a way in which she can actually find her things with ease. She ensures that she doesn't look like a sad crying slob to anyone that might pass by her, so she keeps clean.

She has a younger brother who is ten years younger than her who is in a similar position as her. Out of all the members in her family, Syoni is closest to her brother.

Has a skeptical view and wonders if the gods are playing with the mortals like puppets on strings, but does not confirm nor deny their existence. That being said, she's into studying ghosts and others under the undead umbrella.

Syoni is shown with this extremely huge ego, extroverted demeanor, loud voice and sarcastic personality. Obviously this is just some guise to try and hide from the fact that she has this self-deprecating attitude over the attempt to be someone she's obviously not.
Often times she'll treat someone with an amount of respect or sympathy, should she see that they've been in a similar situation as her.

Let me tell you the story of someone who has long since been dead.
 
There once was a young girl who went by the name Holly Rosea Alcae. However, her parents were quick to call her Du or Two when she was successfully created.
Two had the appearance of a ten-year-old, though her intellectual capabilities are years more advanced. Just like the girl she was a clone of, Two was a powerful psionic, who felt empathy to the people around her and had the ability to crush them with her mental prowess if she desired. Due to her being younger than One in physical and mental capabilities, it meant she was easier to control. This time, they didn't hasten her development.
 
Two was not homeschooled, but instead attended elementary school for a few years, landing awards, respect, and honor rolls left and right. However, she didn't develop lasting friendships at this time. Two was eventually called Holly by her parents as time went on. Her weekends were spent on experimentation, which she was familiar with. They tested her powers, intelligence, and physical aspects to see if she was healthy. No such time would be for her to spend moments of relaxation. To Holly, her life was spent being busy and working.
Her parents saw her as if she was a sort of shiny tool that could do things in a relatively short time. As she got older, she gained more awards and attention, most of which started to get into her head. Holly believed by being the best, she could win the favor of her own parents.
 
Come the last few years of high school, where Holly started to become infamous for her ego, but well-received for her academic works, and managed to become valedictorian at the end. From onlookers, it was evident that Holly showed amounts of unimaginable internal pain and mistrust. She was often seen by herself, constantly avoiding anyone. If she wasn't being anti-social, she was flaunting about how she was great and how she is more intellectually competent than her classmates. If anything, it was to hide the flaw that she's trying so hard to be someone she was not.
 
She attended university, but never had the chance to find an opportunity to move out until later in her fourth year. She was already referring to herself as Syoni Carav, wanting to push her origins away and try to forge an identity of her own. When she moved out, she refused to look back.
 
Holly Alcae is long gone.
 
And I killed her.
 
"Isn't there one thing you're missing?"
 
When Holly had started out college, she stumbled upon a woman who offered her a way to eventually find her way to salvation. The woman reminded of her, though she knew that this person looked like they have accomplished so much.
She took her hand, and took them to the moon. "Welcome to the Society of Creation," she said, and Holly became a member.
 
It took Holly so long for her to realize that this was Sharon, who now goes under the name Mary. It wasn't until Mary had fallen ill with an odd disease that causes flowers to grow around her body like a sort of parasite. In this condition, she was unable to be the Society's Director.
The then-naïve Holly cried out for Mary like a long-lost sister of sorts. She had only met her for months, yet it felt like they've known each other for their entire lives.
 
Holly wanted to promise Mary she'll help her out. Even if she initially had confusion over it all.
She wears two rings, one that was her Society ring, and Mary's Director ring. She took the responsibility of being the Director through illusions and holograms to give off the impression that she is Mary herself. Even then, it felt wrong to be someone she knew she wasn't.
 
"Don't you want to save her?"
