Physical Description

To the other races, he is a small lil lima bean, but for a goblin he's on the tall side. Mama's precious tall boy.

Body Features

Green with a big head. Burn marks here and there. Large bat-like ears that are commonplace for goblins and with a skinny build (for a goblin).

Facial Features

Usually has a scowl on his face due to brooding, but when in the presence of friends or when his attention is captured by something, he is attentive, smirking, and curious. His smile is especially toothy with sharp teeth that are pearly white.

Identifying Characteristics

Has a tinkerer's apron, tough leather gloves, as well as a pair of goggles on his forehead.

Physical quirks

Wears his hair as a mohawk. He thinks it's pretty cool. His mother always liked it.

Apparel & Accessories

His regalia consists of tinkerer's clothes and apron, thick gloves and goggles on his body. On his back he has fastened his pack that is as large as he is and a case that he is always checking on (about the size of a train case-goblin sized of course). This is all fastened together by a series of leather cords attached to a metal frame on his back to help him carry such a burden. His tools are on his belt in pouches, one carrying his Tinkerer's tools and the other made of a more secure material to carry his sensitive alchemical supplies.

Personal history

A goblin born to famed artificerial blood. His Father made magical weapons and armor, his mother could weave life and create constructs. Daretti was raised to do great things for Goblinkind, dreaming of one day becoming greater than the artificers of Nimblewick and to one day visit his Motherland, bringing with him new artificerial ideas and progress. Haunted by a suspicious accident that took his mother's life, Daretti works to uncover a conspiracy that could shake the world of artifice.

Education

Studied under his grandfather Nardo Da Vinky, his father Renzo Da Vinky, and mother Trixie Dazzlebolt-Da Vinky. Sometimes he was given tutoring by artificer Nimmie Amee, who was friend to his mother.

Accomplishments & Achievements

2nd Place Youth Artificer Contest of Verdantport. Lost to an apprentice of Nimmie Amee. Daretti's dad was furious.

The forest is no place for kids

I haven’t been writing much, definitely because of recent events. If my dad knew I’m skipping journals he’d chew me the hell out. That old man...can’t believe I thought he killed mom. I’ve been in doubt since the accident and shit I’m still doubtful. I can trust Nimmie however. Can’t believe pops came knocking on her door lookin for me. Sheesh. Anyway it was high time I left home anyway. King Seeban and his cronies aren’t getting away with what they’ve done to me. I’m Daretti freakin Da Vinky. Son of Trixie, Master of Teleportation magics. Yeah once I crack the code on her works then I can use that as a title. I can’t really focus on writing right now. We just left some kids to fend for themselves in a dangerous forest. There’s a reason I never strayed too far into it as a kid, there’s bad evil shit in there. But these kids had no choice. The orphanage burnt down, and there was no place for them. Verdantport has got to get their shit together. The city should have taken care of them! Witchwood is what they call their lil fort in the forest. There’s that one girl, the leader Chloe, she’s got a lot of moxie. Yeah and the White Witche’s weapon! It’s mythical! It’s legendary and I got to touch it! I taught her a few things about attunement so with time she’ll form a connection with it. It’s not something I learned over night. Hope she can protect them. We killed that freakish monster in the clearing. Evil and ugly and big is what that thing was, but Armitage and his new book really put out some firepower. But a kiddo still lost his life. Erastus is really messed up about it. We all are. Hope Elaria can help lift his spirits. Well think I’m all done writing for now. Rest is over and we’re following Malth’s lead.
