Episode: 004 Roll the Spottle Die

The Warriors of the Dawn War (and Thomas) have finally met up with the Captain that brought them to this continent, One-Eyed Jack. His ship, the Suicide King was damaged slightly during its crash landing into the Clan Lake, but he has patched it up, and turned it into a floating casino that caters to the visitors, merchants, and residents of the Shell.   Thus begins Episode 004 of Shut Up and Role Play Presents: Uxu.   The Warriors spend their evening apart (massive surprise some gambling, some drinking, some diving into the lake and speaking with the Deep (That was Izzat...). Kumiko and Thomas, in their first duet adventure, made their way back to shore and sought permission from Chief Negotiator Fon of the Dealweaver, to investigate the Shell physically. They discovered that while the creature was likely slightly smaller than the shell appears to indicate, it still would have been somewhere in the area of 175 feet long and 50 feet wide. More information was gathered about possible causes of the destruction of Wavefall Village.   That evening, Kumiko made a new acquaintance, the strange traveler Siku. He seemed to only be at the shell to purchase things...unspecific things. However, Kumiko made a deal with him to come back the next morning to acquire information from him about her growing map collection.   The next morning, when the group met with Jack to discuss the fall of Wavewalker village and their next moves....Kumiko was absent. Shenanigans again abounded, and eventually that afternoon, the Suicide King set sail for the ruins of the village, anchoring that evening in the lake in preparation for what would greet them the next day.

Episode: 003 Technical Difficulties

While There were a number of technical issues with this episode which did end up shortening the amount of playtime, The Warriors of The Dawn still had work to do.   Waking in Starfall Village, the Warriors, with their new (hopeful) ally Thomas, made their way west along the shore heading for a village known as the Shell. They had a brief run in with the Broken Toe Clan, a militaristic clan of Tortle, passing around their village with a wide berth. Eventually they found their way to the bazaar that is The Shell.   This tortle village is situated on the west coast of the Clan Lake on a natural bay. It is the home village of both the Palecrest, and the Dealweaver Clans, but also contains representatives from almost every clan, as well as many of the nearby non-tortle cities. There are hundreds of travelers here at any one time, their small tents scattered around the area. The center of the entire market is a massive shell that rests on the ruins of a Giant building. Dozens of merchants make their home here, selling their wares in various booths and stalls under the ancient remains.   The PCs split up (as they almost always do) immediately, half of them going into the Shell to shop, and the others moving into the Palecrest Compound to speak with both the Lakespeaker Oothan Palecrest, as well as Chana the daughter of the missing Wavewalker Tribe chieftain. Information was gathered, shenanigans were had in the market, and as the sun began to set, the Suicide King, their missing airship, pulled into the bay, and a line of travelers formed to take small boats out to the massive ship.   The group made their way out to the ship, only to find that their captain, One-Eyed Jack, had turned the Suicide King into a floating casino.   With that, the session drew to a close.

Session 002: The Quest for Fish and Stools

The session began in the tense moment following the felling of the Wemic Witherlings, with the assistance of the fearsome Basha Khalu. What followed was a tense combination of combat and "conversation" that involved a number of the Warriors of the Dawn coming to blows with each other.   The group managed to get through the situation without additional death and made their way south toward what they hoped to be the Clan Lake. As Tense as the words with Basha may have been, the moments between the party were far worse throughout the rest of the day.   That night, as the group made camp under a small copse of trees in the grasslands north of the lake, Isabel and Izzat had a conversation that had been needed for quite some time. Both seemed to get closer to an understanding of each other concerning the Prince's decision to make a pact with the entity known as The Deep. As their watch drew to a close, Isabel gifted Izzat with the mask that belonged to the former champion of The Deep that they had bested months earlier.   Late in the night, the storm that had been threatening its arrival for days finally arrived. The next morning the group continued their journey south trudging through the muddied ground until they eventually saw a small village in the distance. There they met the residents of Star Fall village, including Thomas, a gnome from Homeland who seems to have beaten their group to Uxu by flying some strange contraption into the floating ocean before eventually falling out of it into the Clan Lake.   Hijinx ensued as the members of the party experienced the odd group of Tortles who have embraced the technological experimentation of their hero Thomas. The whole city is wired together through ropes and pulleys that perform all manner of functions that the party has yet to ascertain.   However, most importantly, the continuing adventures of Izzat and Kumiko saw them meet both Jupa the Fishmonger, and Arlo the.....craftsman(?) and completed their vital mission, the purchase of fish, and a stool.

Episode: 001 The Journey Begins....Again

The remaining god-blooded protectors of Devyn's Tower finally leave to continue their adventures after 70 days of downtime which included; the weddings of both Yvette/Owen Collins and Prince Izzat/Erik Dixon, the formation of the Alliance of the Dawn, Devyn's Tower making progress in constructing a more permanent settlement, and a number of the other Warriors of the Dawn leaving to pursue their own goals.   In these four days, a number of important moments occurred   * The discovery that Prince Izzat now had magic, given to him by The Deep. * Amira Barrett joined the others to ensure that no other innocents of Devyn's Tower die, as her husband did. * The group may not 100% understand what a cairn is. * The chasm they were warned to avoid, appears to have a mining village on it populated by aarakocra, wildlings, and the dead. * Oshaka's herd has moved far south of their original range * One of the wemics that the warriors had previously encountered seems to be ranging by himself, and not moving with the rest of the pride. * Some of the wemics seem to have become undead, and are consuming their own flesh. * The solo wemic dislikes the undead wemics almost as much as the PCs.
