God- and Titanblooded

Those with powers beyond what is normal are known as Godblooded. There are two ways this can happen: either they have a god for an ancestor, or a god chooses to imbue them with power.

These people have an incredible well of energy that allows them to take more damage, learn more quickly, and perform amazing feats that many non-Blooded will never be able to attain.

The Blood does run in families but does not always manifest. A Godblooded parent might not produce Godblooded children, but those children might have Godblooded children of their own without further divine intervention.

The Titans are also capable of fathering children with mortals and imbue their progeny with similar capabilities.

To be accepted by an Imperial Throne, a person seems to need to have a fairly high concentration of this power.
