When in Llancarfan... Part 2 Report

General Summary

After months of waiting, the party, along with Four Bear Silent Oak, an envoy from Cavanaugh and First Spear Centurion Lucius Tiberius, they will have their hearing before the Crown Prince, Agrippa of Muirthemne and the Grand Vizier Dardanos. Also in attendance is Imperial Prince Antiochus and his Vizier, the Avatara, Sanjana.   Before they have a chance to speak, Agrippa accuses Four Bear of conspiracy and treachery against the Crown by aiding and abetting a foreign military and from a country that almost undid their world - Yer-Ks. Agrippa turns to Dardanos who explains that Thellari speak the ancient dead language of the Yer-Ks, and recounts the tale of the collapse of the Yer-Ks Empire at the hands of the Trow and the creation of the Watcher.   The envoy from Cavanaugh will stand firm in support of the Thellari, forcing Agrippa to allow for them to remain in the Empire but he will exile Four Bear from the Heron Guard and the city.   The party was given a chance to speak, but they were unable to sway the Grand Prince.   If the party attends the hearing, they will complete their employment with Four Bear, receive 100 xp and receive 700 gold.   Following the hearing, Four Bear asks the party if they want to continue trying to help him and the Thellari or if they want to move on. The party opts to gain the favor of the other client lords of the realm.   To begin, they chose to assist the Prince Regent of Scales with investigating a series of political murders and assaults. Scales is technically ruled by Prince Antiochus, and they are decide on gaining his favor.   The party volunteer their help to the prince, in exchange for favor and Armor of the Phantom Hounds Regiment.
