- Dax' Athla informs everyone that today is Tirasday, the start of the planting season and also the birth date of Tira Miron. Traditionally, the faithful celebrate by giving each other gifts in the evening.
- Warden buys some torches and some powder to turn the flames a silver colour.
- Kalshana buys everyone a book. She gets Warden a book of war stories, Dax an art book, and Lozaal a recipe book for cocktail making.
- Dax collects driftwood and carves them, incorporating sea shells into the gifts. She made a staff for Warden, a stake for Kalshana, and a wooden crown for Lozaal, with sea shells hanging from it.
- Lozaal brews beverages for the celebration, being uncomfortable with the connotations that giving a gift carries to goblinoids.
- That evening, after the giving of gifts, Dax attempts to meditate again. She mind links with Kalshana and Warden, and manages to meditate successfully without making the campfire cold.
- They sleep! Time moves!
- The magistrate Odélus Groleau is finally appointed to the case to handle Sunfeather's killing of Antaeranor.
- The party visits the magistrates office and provide the evidence they gathered during their investigation.
- The court date comes, and Odélus rules that House Vadalis must pay the ir'Nolin family reparations equal to 5000 gp, and Sunfeather must be relocated out of Aundair.
- Starling d'Vadalis offers to pay them 250 gp each now, or if they are still willing to transport Sunfeather to Varna, they can get a mount there.
- They take the money.
