The Bronze Ring - Haram Bay Finale Report

General Summary

The Group made was able to make contact with the Triton Seabreeze and discovered that there is a Triton city nearby that used to be allies with the Mocaw and kept the Sea Devils in check. They have not been able to interfere, as the Sea Devils were able to capture a figure very important to the Tritons, and imprison him in Stone. The figure is a great Bronze Dragon and Artur Dane used his ring to help capture him. The party worked made a deal with the Tritons, that if they could free the Dragon, the Tritons would take care of the Sahuagin. After some planning the, group made their way to the old Triton Temple where the dragon was being held, and had an epic battle with a Sea Devin Mutant. They were able to defeat him and the other guardians, and then use a scroll provided by Crissius to free the Dragon. The Dragon, it turn out was The Bronze Dragon, Scion of Bahumet known as Ventis. He also agreed to help the triton end the Sea Devil threat to Hara Bay.   The party made their way back to the Bay to plan their next move. The visited the outcasts, and Jonathan Finch, who offered to help for rescinding his exile. He also stated that they would need some more inside help. The team met with Chester Copper who agreed to help organize a resistance if the PC allowed him to take Olivya place.   With all the pieces in place the PC had an idea. The Mocaw would attack the Drudane fields, and the guard towers. Then Chester would organize a resistance amongst the people in the Bay and Finch would sneak in and also gather those who the outsiders have have good relations with. The party would enter the manor, through a secret passage that Finch told them about and confront Olivya with Zanele. They would try to convince her to give up the ring and power.   The plan went very well, Zanele was able to convince her lover to step away from Haram Bay and leave to other places with her and the players took The Bronze Ring. Just as the players were about to leave there was an unexpected turn. A Vomoraxx Inquisitor arrive on his Red Dragon. After months he had tracked the party to Haram Bay and Chester gave him the location of the group. He demanded they present themselves or he would destroy the island.   The party went out to confront him and just as his dragon was about to incinerate them, Ventis appeared getting in the way of the blast and attacking the Dragon. The players fled to The Mistral and found it taken over by vomeraxx soldiers. The quickly dispatched the soldiers, and and got the ship into the air.   Just as they thought they were free the Dragon appeared from the clouds chasing them. It seemed like it was very hurt and using the cannons they had recently purchased on the island, they were able to strike it and knock it into the water securing their freedom.
