Session 001: Report

General Summary

Having made your journey to the foothills of the Twilight's Teeth mountains, your group arrived at the outskirts of a small village. You decided to rest there and gather information for your delve into the tombs.   You made your way to the local drinking hole, and after a rather cold reception, you managed to gain the trust of some of the locals. You were given accomodations and spent the rest of the evening gathering information.   While Talvikki entertained the patrons, the rest of you learned about a group of grave robbers who had entered the tomb several days prior. You learned that they had recently left the area, having stolen one of the village horses in the dead of night.   You departed at noon, while most of the villagers were out working the fields. You followed the forested trail towards the tomb, and after an hour or so, reached its bronze gate, which now laid smashed open.   Stepping into the dusty chamber, you found tools and pilfered gold left behind by the tomb raiders. You also noticed a trail of blood leading out of the chamber and into the wilderness. On one of the walls you saw a large, faded mural, and an engraved text which mentioned someone known as "The Guardian".   You entered the next chamber, where you found discarded tools and stone sarcophagi which had been broken open and robbed. The remains of skeletal warriors littered the floor, and upon further investigation, you spotted a group of walking dead, which were obsessively shambling towards a corner filled with stone rubble. You ambushed the creatures and after brief combat, you put them to rest. The chamber now lies silent again.
