Session 8 - Report

General Summary

• Asog was unable to make it to the session and will be absent for the forseeable future.

  We begin the session with the party fleeing the burning remains of bandit's camp. The party are battered, bruised yet vicotirous over the bandits. However, the bandit leader still remains, and not feeling like they are currently up to the task the party decide to retreat and regroup at the Ovis Tribe Settlement, where the tribe and Uriel are waiting for their return.   As the party are travelling home, they are Ambushed by Adran and his Winter Wolf, who demands that the party sacrifice two of their own in order for the others to live, or face him in mortal combat and all die. Zolv puts on a show about killing Darnalore, using his Mind Link to communicate secretly with her to pull it off. However, when he tries to do the same with Icarus Adran sees through the rouse, leading to a combat. The party are successful, his wolf being trampled by the parties fleeing cart (being pulled by a riding lizard).   Adran goes down shortly after, being skewered by Darnalore's Elk horn as Zolv tries to gain control of the runaway cart he is on. After looting Adran of his valuables, the party continue on their way to Tanjarr.   They decide to deliver Uriel's package to him the following day, taking the rest of the evening to try and overcome the traumas of their journey. All the death, killing and near-death experiences taking their toll on the parties psyche. Ophellia stews in her room after eating her mothers cooking. Darnalore spends some quality time with her adoptive mother. Zolv sits in the quiet and tries to come to terms with everything. Icarus talks to Duke, admitting to knowing about the secret training sessions he takes Garret on, asking to join them in the hope that he can come to terms with deaths he has caused. Ophellia visits Gux the following morning for some religious views on everything that has happened.  

• We end the session with them transporting the apparatus to Uriel.

Rewards Granted

• The tribe throw a celebration for the parties success, and are rewarded 200sp and with a Bracer of Flying Daggers.
