What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The handy search bar finds results in articles, images, timelines, etc. but not in Variables. When looking for earlier references to a term in the database while adding a new use of the term, currently I need to first use the "Search" bar and find article, images, etc. Then go to the Variables interface, try to remember which Collection I might have put a reference in, and then search that collection.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Adding Variable Titles to search scope would allow results to show a variable title that included a search term (example, searching for the term 'Danstan' would return results that included the article "Danstan Generator" and the Variable title "Gravik Danstan".)What are other uses for this feature request?
It would certainly help keep from inadvertently duplicating Variables across collections if a user could search the term and have it returned in search results with a link to the collection.The Team's Response
