At the moment I am expanding my world and categorising it based on sub-sections but as I add more and more, the codex is starting to get VERY long.
If the World Codex was a bit more intuitive and could be expanded with clicks (a bit more like a file structure) it could allow people to really delve into the worlds we make and not have menu's overloaded.

As it was mentioned above, according to your screenshot you are not using the ToC and article categorization but almost exclusively articles under articles (sub articles) This is not an issue of the ToC but of the organization strategy you have chosen to use.

on 2021-06-17 18:38I am sorry bud, but I think that the problem here is that you are not using the ToC corrently not that the ToC has a problem. Judging just from your screenshot most of your articles are using the sub articles system that both the creators said that it should be used sparingly and only for minor articles not as a categorization system. Categories/folders should be nested not sub articles. I have an 8000 articles world and it works perfectly even with that amount of articles. Also if I remember correctly you can elect NOT to show sub articles on the ToC, so again that might be one you <3
