Historical Entries Count Towards Word Count

User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) · World management · Created by butwhatifspace

I have noticed while editing historical entries on timelines in my world that the content of historical entries does not affect the word count (adding/deleting words does not change the displayed word count).

The Team's Response

I am closing this not because it will not happen but because the plan is to be added as a feature to many more and it is already in the pipeline

Historical events ARE a type of worldbuilding; you are creating your world's HISTORY after all. Historical events should count.

    Agreed. Creating anything should count.

If it slows down the site I'd rather not, otherwise +1

I also noticed that the content in relationships (such as relationship history) does not affect the word count. It would be great if that could be included.

This isn't a bug. Historical entries on timelines have never counted toward your world's word count.

This might be a bug, in which case it'd be better to go into bug reports.
