Turn on Map Pin Group with Zoom in / out

Feature Upgrade · Maps · Created by MadMadamMal

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Add an option for map pin groups to turn on / off depending upon zoom in level.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

An example would be turning on additional pins for greater detail when zoomed into the map further, while turning them off to keep the map cleaner while zoomed out. It addresses the "map pin zoom in" issue I see complaints about

What are other uses for this feature request?

Zoom in far enough on specific spots to find secrets :)

I can definitely see how this would be useful for reducing visual clutter at wider zooms. As it is, if someone has the 'locations of interest' layer active on one of my maps, the actual terrain becomes very difficult to discern for all the pins in the way.

Great idea! That map pin zoom in issue is annoying, the only way I see it gets fixed is when you imbed the map in an article.

YES!!! If this is possible to achieve I am behind it 100%!!! My map is extremely messy right now because of all the pins! This is a brilliant idea!

Being able to ad overarching pins that encompass a large area if you zoom out enough, like a pin for the name of a country, and zooming in, you can see specific locations or notable spots that are inside that country

I currently do this with smaller versions of maps linked to the region itself but this would be a game changer
