Relationship Relationship-tab Ui interface confusing
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The current relationship page on articles is very confusing for the viewer (while in view mode). Specifically, the placement of the "relationship importance" and the difference between actual relations and relations can be misleading.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
I suggest that the appearance of relationship tabs is changed to make it less confusing. Some changes I suggest are altering the "relationship importance" so it appears on a separate line from the "role" in the relationship. It would also be really good to re-write it as "relationship is X for this character" or something.
I also suggest that a subheading is shown beneath the smiley faces for both relationship and actual relationship that specify in text what it is (so you don't have to hover over it). I also suggest that the wording of "relationship" be changed to "relationship appearance" (the wording of "actual relationship" is good and doesn't need to be changed).
What are other uses for this feature request?
I just know from personal experience that this interface is very misleading, as I still have to go into edit mode to view my own relationships to make sure I'm seeing them correctly. Also, this entire request is just a convenience thing and I have no idea how difficult it would be to implement. If it's too time-consuming or difficult to program feel free to brush over it :) just be aware that it's a problem.
The Team's Response
Thanks for your suggestion! An upgrade to the relationships system is planned for the future, and we'll keep this suggestion in mind when we do.
