Option For Player's To Make Their Character Profile's Private with a Free WA Account (In Campaign View)
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I believe this feature was requested a few years ago but didn't receive enough votes, I would like to submit the request again as I believe as a GM using WA for both my campaign management and as a VTT that certain features should be extended to my Players simply by me having a Grandmaster account. Right now when Players join a Campaign on WA they have to leave their character profile's public, which reveals all and any information they want to put down about their character's. Unless that Player has a WA paid account, in which they now have the ability to make their character's profile private.
I run a campaign with 5 Players, and it's a little pricey for all of them (or for me to get it for them) to have to get WA paid account simply for the option to make their character profile's private so that the other members of the campaign don't see any information they're not supposed to. I use many other GM services to help manage my campaign and sessions, like dndbeyond, FoundryVTT, and ForgeVTT, and all of them allow for Players to get basic features just by myself, the GM, having some form of a paid account with those sites. And it's a bit odd that WA doesn't have that same feature, at the very least for something as simple as my Players having the ability to make their character profile's private so that only they and myself can see the information.
I've been told a workaround for this is to add all the information in myself using the "Secrets" feature and just giving my Players subscriber access, but thats just additional work for me to have to do those extra steps. Plus, my Players will know their character's WAY better than I do, its so much easier for them to add any information they want to keep private or not about their character.

Thanks for the suggestion! Note that this is mainly a policy change request rather than a feature request, which are outside the scope of this features board. Please refrain from creating similar feature suggestions in the feature, and instead use one of our feedback channels (such as the yearly Forge the Future survey, currently running). on 2024-01-09 14:00I would love to see this as a feature, especially as I have a similar difficulty in my own games. However, I think rather than making information private Secrets should be used and the focus should be on making easy access of Secrets.
